Re: Systemsix frame Hey Hubertus,

I don't own that particular frameset from Speeder but I've been riding the R48-D model which is like the Winspace SLC 2.0 and I have good feedback on it in general it's very stiff and planted.

Re: Fake eeBrakes G4
Overall, you've had good experiences with your fake eebrakes and don't have any concerns about how well they work? Besides rust on the return spring, any other QC or build issues?

I have since moved back to Disc Brakes but they worked as intended and except for the rust build up which could most likely be prevented they are fine.

They are finicky with cable just like the real thing and I know some frames won't be able to have the right angle for them.

I did about 7000km with them and never had a failure.

Re: Speeder SC-R48
Any further experiences?

I've had about 1250KM on the bike since then and I'd say my opinion hasn't changed much this is a racing-worthy frame my only knick is the lack of compliance it's a very stiff bike.

Re: cycplus vs rockbros little electric pump things I have the "Airbank" Branded one I paid a bit under 60$ CAD for it and it works as intended!

With the silicone cover, I think it sits at 102G.

Re: Winspace SLC 2.0 Bike definitely looks cleaner with internal routing.

The same behaviors on the Speeder Version thing is on rails.

Re: Twitter, who knows? who experienced?
Hello, are there people who have experience with twitter bikes. I don't see anything on the forum at the moment.

Here (https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=172802) a guy, who seems honest, was pretty not satisfied with his 1,5k$ yoeleo gravel and prefers by far his cheapest twitter gravel v3.
I also find that twitter quality seems pretty low, they're probably lying on the EPS molding and so...

So what to think about twitter?

Rigoberto Uran's brand Uranium bikes is selling the same frame Twitter is selling as their road bike and they have an OK following in Colombia.

Re: Speeder wheels
Thanks to this thread I saw speeder for the first time. They have really nice products, not only the wheels. I really like the handlebars they offer and the seapost is genius as they have this little knob to adjust the saddle angle which is great for saddles without cutout. nice

The reason why I purchased the wheels from them is that I got the RC48D frame new but second hand from a forum member and they weren't willing to sell/ship me spare derailleur hangers and headset.

However I am happy with the wheels and have zero regret on my purchase I'll add a pic to this thread later.

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame
You have hit on my main problem in buying these frames.

Some time ago I bought a Spanish brand of frame (CBK) I think manufactured in ICAN. After some time I improved my performance and noticed how in short and strong intervals it gave a flexing sensation.
I switched to Merida Scultura and buaf, new world, much more stiffness and I can't put fork and chainstays together with my hands.
Currently, I have a max power of 1300W, and I want to look for a frame with disc brakes and internal cabling, but at less than 700usd, I doubt the stiffness.

I like Elves, Hygge....

Check for the Speeder frames if you want something stiff I have their R48D and it's just as stiff or more then my allez sprint disc.

Re: The rigid, performance Chinese bicycle frame? Speeder cycling will fit the job very stiff frame I have their climbing disc frame and it's not a noodle even for sprinting.

Re: Speeder, Tantan or Ican
I'm guessing you're feeling a lack of compliance leading to a lack of confidence going downhill.

This is mostly down to tires and rims--excessively high tire pressure is the single largest factor in poor rear-end compliance.

You can reduce tire pressure while keeping rolling-resistance low by adopting wider tires, wider rims, higher-quality tires, and replacing butyl tubes with TPU, latex, or tubeless tires. The frame is mostly secondary to tire-setup, after all, the pros are riding Roubaix on aero-bikes these days.

What rear tire are you using? What width? What rim width are you using?

For example, I weigh 80kg, I am using 28mm Continental GP5000 with Ridenow TPU tubes inside, mounted to ICAN Aero 35 wheels, which have a 19mm internal rim-width. I run about 80-85PSI for races with high demands on cornering.

If you are really committed to buying another frame, I believe ICAN has the most solid reputation for quality, but their frames are somewhat heavy. And there's no guarantee it will be more compliant than your Winspace.

I can pretty much guarantee it won't.

I ride a Speeder RC-48D and it's just as stiff as my Allez Sprint 2019 Disc IE almost zero compliance.

It's a fast bike but not one I would chalk up as comfortable by any means.
