Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts
Nice build! What are you using as top tube protection against brake levers?

It's Skean Legend, a french product that is specially intended to this use.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts
Looks great Robin and good job getting the pics up, I for one appreciate the screen friendly sizing.

Are you happy with how it rides?

I've never ridden a bike so comfortable and efficient in downhills, it's really amazing.  It also climbs very well, the position is super natural when I thought I was a bit lost with the huge reach coupled with a 60mm stem.

For the photos I think I have found a good compromise between size and quality, I'll keep the same settings  ;)

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts It's a copy of Gemini Propus combo, with 60mm stem and 740mm handlebar.

Re: BXT MTB 056? Size L frame (I didn't weigh it Mea Culpa), GX AXS groupset, X1 Dub crankset, carbon wheels fitted by me with internal 29mm Light-Ride rims (there I have my rear gravel wheel in the meantime  to change the ratchet on the other), Sid SL Select fork, 80mm/740mm carbon handlebar-stem combo, SRAM level ultimate brakes, Elita One seatpost and carbon saddle.
Weighed at 9.25kg, the assembly was very easy and the frame finishes are very clean.
I haven't been able to test it properly yet, I'll come back to give a more substantiated opinion but for the moment I find it very nervous, no doubt thanks to its oversized bottom bracket, the geometry is great, you feel well centered on  the bike, and the rear triangle seems to filter vibrations well, which is very pleasant.

Re: Best "Downcountry" 120ish-mm Frame for Long Climbs and Rough Downhills The Workswell WCB-M-364 would be the best choice imo, a rear triangle pivot, 120mm rear and 130mm front, a 65.8° HA, and pretty light because it shares all the frame but the rear triangle with the 363 that is their new XC-bike.
