« on: January 15, 2024, 08:09:58 AM »
My favorite bike ever but I am downsizing to a 54cm because I’m a stronger rider now looking for a more aggressive fit. One paint chip, factory painted, comes with headset and integrated 400*90 carbon barstem.

$400 shipped to you

Hey Pat,

I really value your opinion. What would you recommend for a bike? I'm looking for aero (but not a all costs). Should be an allrounder, but race oriented. Not endurance or comfort. I like the sl7 and the new Cannondale (supersix, not the bulky system six). I normally do group ride around 39km/h average. Solo rides are around 33-35km/h. Mostly flat, but do like the occasional trip to hilly/mountain rides (so weight is not the main concern, but should be heavy).

Going for old school 2x11 (of 2x12) di2 or etap last gen and 45-50mm wheels.

Velobuild 177 is an option, so is the Yinsun R086-D.

What do you recon?

(last criteria: will be building myself, I hate problems like f'd-up c-rings and stuff. Dont want to fiddle around too much)

Carbonda CFR 1056. Flawless quality, reasonable price, pretty, comfortable, not SUPER aggressive (like the Yishun, which is a straight up bar out of hell race bike geometry). I have three bikes, including a Crust and a Lynskey R500, and the Carbonda is just better for almost everything.

registered 3 weeks ago, your only post is this one. Come on CSC people, do you think we are that dumb?

Just got into the site, my man. Not a spy from CSC. I have wheels from CSC, Hunt, Elite, and am building three sets with rims from C-razycarbon (check them out - prices are great) and a variety of hubs - White, Bitex and Hope.

I sincerely really like the CSCs. Great brake track, nice-looking, Brad took tubeless first try without an Airshot, good price. Stand by what I said - I think they make an above average quality wheelset.

Thank you for the response. I spoke with Wing and she’ll be able to supply me with this non integrated cap.

I’m also looking for recommendations on sizing. I’m 5’11” (180cm) tall with a 33” (84cm) inseam.  Based upon what I’ve read in this thread I’m thinking a 56 frame should work,  but advice is always appreciated.

I’m the same size and ordered a 56. I’ve already got a 696 and that was the right size for me in that frame.

I have also had good experiences with them, so sorry you're having a bad time with this. I think their brake tracks are the best I've used so far, and the quality has always been really good.
