Re: Velobuild VB-R-218
Quick question about the saddle bolts, how do you tighten a saddle without a cutout in the middle? I realized that one of the bolt faces upwards, and if there's no cut out in the saddle, I have no idea how to tighten it. You could also check if there is enough space so you could use a trimmed down/shortened allen key. November 16, 2023, 12:39:36 PM |

Re: Spacers on top of the Velobuild stem?
I have a feeling this is not going to be possible but for anyone that has ordered a Velobuild frame with separate stem: Is there a way to put spacers on top of it? I don't want to commit to cutting the fork entirely but I guess this is a design flaw or they seriously expect you to get your stack height 100% correct at first or with all the spacers under the stem. Picture for reference: I 3d printed an adapter for this, based on a file shared on the 177 thread. You could possibly sand down a tall enough spacer to match the curvature of the stem. Re: Speeder Cycling SC-R49D
Great build, thanks for posting! I think it was me who "told" you to try that frame That frame is still very interesting to me. Did you weigh everything before building it up? December 04, 2023, 10:40:12 AM |

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)
Looks nice but any reason you went for a copy of the standard byke logo? Just seems a little weird as someone who just takes a quick look at the frame and sees a branding that doesn't belong on the frame. I guess its more a joke regarding the "standert" frames, which is just a other "hipster" frame brand from Berlin, Germany. I think that joke works quite well here, as he also used the same font and a similar logo. December 04, 2023, 03:36:01 PM |

Re: Yuanan Carbon fiber wheelsets Year end discount promotion
You guys also manufacture for Ryet? In the previous post (now edited/censored as well), they mentioned "Rose", a trusted german direct-to-customer brand. So no worries about those YuanAn wheels, they wont explode like the typical RYET wheel December 09, 2023, 10:23:50 AM |

Re: Yishun R086-D Aero Road
I’m assuming plug A goes into the front/real derailleur holes? (I’m wireless) The hole on the seat tube is for the Di2 cable. December 11, 2023, 03:06:30 PM |

Re: LCR017 D frame
Has anyone made progress in building the Light carbon LRO17 D? Any problems encountered? There is a thread already: https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,4309.0.html December 21, 2023, 02:22:05 AM |

Comment-bombed the previous page to get to a working page 12 ... I was not being intentionally obnoxious, I was being purposefully obnoxious! Appreciate the effort! Not sure if it worked tho, i had to log out to see page 12 and then had to log in to post a comment. December 21, 2023, 03:26:51 PM |

Re: TanTan TT-X38 Build
I made some TanTan decals. An EPS-file ready for plotting is attached in case anyone wants to have them too. Looks way better than before, probs for keeping it real! January 18, 2024, 08:27:53 AM |

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame
Due to a coincidence in the 268 thread, I did some digging and found out that the 168 was probably originally made for S1Neo and was usedw for their 599D 2021-2022 Version. However, they use a new mold now for thee 599D. But I found some old (japanese, i guess) youtube videos and a sale listing as evidence. ;-) https://www.troc-velo.com/fr-fr/annonce/velo-de-route-s1neo-599d-3612063 https://youtu.be/VIRWE0uy4bA?si=hRsKO85p8jHbFcUk January 30, 2024, 04:01:03 PM |
