Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts
Yeah I'm going for the 44mm offset SID select too. Also, pretty cool feature with the SID is to change from 100 to 120 or visa versa it seems you only need a 40euro air shaft change.

I shipped with DHL, do you know if Carbonda will update me with the tracking number once they ship it? Thanks :)

Yes. They always provide the tracking number.
So you can frenetically follow it, instead of boring them every two days  ;)

A 120 fork could be reduced to 100 too?

If you're looking for a bargain handelbar for you build, you might want to consider this one:

Good to know!
I'll go that route too, once I'm sure of the stem length I need.

Re: ZTTO MTB M1 Boost hubs 28H 54T Ratchet It looks they even copied the hard to remove end caps from DT Swiss  ???

To remove them without scratching you need a bolt or a cylinder of the same diameter of the axle. You can use the axle too, but you may damage the thread.
Put the bolt a little inside the end cap hole, force the bolt to move on the side, the end cap pops out.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts
My frame arrived!
That one will get noticed, for sure  :D

I'm not that worried about the 42.5mm anymore. From the other's feedback first.
And even on a jump, the force to flex the pivot/shock/BB fixture should be enormous for the triangle to go farther than your picture.

Re: ZTTO MTB M1 Boost hubs 28H 54T Ratchet Just hit them gently on the inner crown from the other side, to get them out.
Either with a dedicated cylindrical tool and a mallet.
Or again a bolt, an Allen key or a screwdriver.

I wouldn't change them now, just check if they develop some play in the coming months.
When you feel the wheels moves too much laterally.
Ali bearings are ok for disposable ones like BB and headset ones, they are generally crap and don't last.

For the wheels, I put SKF or NTN stainless ones.
Ceramic are a waste of money on an MTB IMO.

Re: ZTTO MTB M1 Boost hubs 28H 54T Ratchet You can get the axle out with a mallet, like de dt swiss ones.
Here's a video on how to do it:
Some have threaded end caps, like the Novatec or Carbon Ti.

Re: 29er hardtail Here is an FM386 size XL from Carbonda I've built recently.

The bar is from Carbonda
The seatpost is an Elita One from Aliexpress
XT BR-M8100/BR-M8120 brakes
SRAM AXS
SID Ultimate 2020 100mm
LightBicycle wheels

Same good quality as usual, frame and paint.
No issue to report and the user is very happy  :)

Re: Welcome to Chinertown - Introduce Yourself!
Looking for a ~130 mm frame from china is frustrating at this point, maybe something happens until next spring...

Wing from Carbonda said they will provide as from December a 130mm as in the attachment.
They plan to offer a 150mm too.

Re: 29er hardtail $350 for the frame but $660 in the end, with axle, bar, headset, shipping.
And $90 for the paintIng.

$1010 for the wheelset: RM29C19 rims with i9 hubs(they were on sale), and SAPIM cx-ray spokes.
