I build both TanTan GR29 and a Wind GT20 in the past with no issues, both bikes still working fine.
Built process was painless.

Here the GR29 thread:
https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,3118.msg25125.html#msg25125

And here the GT20:
https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,4030.msg42760.html#msg42760

The Second bike you linked, the CWind GT30 is interesting especially since it is using T47 BB which is a good choice and leaves all crank options open. There might be different manufacturers / Distributors selling this frame under a different name. CWind is nice since they include all parts such as Headset and through axles, while at TanTan/Seraph make sure to order them matching to your frame separately.

I really like these emonda looking frames. If you ever see one capable of taking 32C, please message me.
I actually rode today with a guy who has a 6000 EUR emonda di2. Such a nice bike. He's an ex pro so in my book he's allowed to spend 6k on a bike :p

32mm wide tires would be pushing it to the limit... I currently use 30mm Conti GP5000 and there is still room to go a bit wider.

Thank you for the 51 pages of comments to the eR9 and eRX, very useful and interesting information!

During the recent sale I could not resist to get an eR9 without batteries that came in delivered around 300US$.
A great price if the thing works...

For context, I upgraded my mostly indoor Zwift bike with the eR9 since the shifting performance of the GR9 never was great and the thumb shifter is not my cup of tea after trying it for several months. I think the poor shifting performance may have been due to the tight bends of the shifter cable due to the fully integrated handlebar. Going to wireless electric shifting did the trick for me...

I had the GR9 hydraulic levers paired with the Zrace XG calipers, design, weight and color choice were attractive at the time.
My experience with the calipers was less than stelar... the back brake did never work, even after several bleeds. The brake feeling was always soft and not very assuring on steep downhill rides. Installed the heavier L-Twoo calipers and breaking feel and performance is now good.

I am running the eR9 in a 1x11 speed configuration, due to the existing chain and cassette.
I really like the future proof option to upgrade to 1x12 or 2x12 if I want to experiment.

Reading about the water ingress on the deraileur, I decided to use a heat shrink tube to slide over the port of the rear derailleur and then shrieked it to seal the cable in place. I expect this to solve the issue for the time being.

Getting the L-Two app to work is a bit of an issue since the default language is Chinese... after some online search I figured out how to switch the language. Other than that the App is easy to use and the option to fine tune each gear to the tolerances of your cassette is a great feature.
I currently run 46t x 11-36t for my indoor setup, no problem with the B screw to get 36t working even without a deraileur extender.

Time will tell how good the system works and if the batteries discharge quickly. Since use the bike mostly indoors it should at least not cause any issues with water ingress.

Has anyone come across a set of ultralight SPD pedals offered on Aliexpress??   Perhaps with a TI axles?

I like and use Wellgo / Xpedo:

Of course the full Ti version of Xpedo are not a budget option...   ;)

On the cheaper side with aluminum I use and like these:

I have the Elite edge 45 wheels with 28mm GP 5000's and the interface between rim and tire is pretty good.
Below a picture how it looks on the rim and bike. Still very happy with the wheel set after 2500km.

And on the bike:

im interested in this frame too, which store is it? strangely enough Rocking store is nowhere to be found in Ali

I got the frame from "Rocking Cycling" but you are correct, I just checked on Ali and the shop was found only after a second search...
Here is the link: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/2189015
I especially love the integrated handlebar, the cables are routed below so really easy for a clean installation.

Yes it is annoying that the sellers do not always include the matching through axles with frames.
TanTan/Seraph requires you to order all parts separately....

In my experinence the through axles are not as standardized as other parts, so I always make sure to order them toghether with any new frame.
There are just too many variants out there to take the risk.

Just want to share my latest Chinerbike project using a well known clone frame that was on offer during singles day sales in November and of course some other components off AliXpress.

I know clone frames are  frowned upon but I had a good experience so far, so here we go:
- Frameset including seat mast and carbon handlebar
- Ltwoo GR9 Hydraulic Gravel Brifters and Rear derailleur
- Zrace XG hydraulic calipers
- Elite SLR Gravel wheels 45x31mm
- Continental GP5000 STR 30mm with Ridenow TPU tubes
- ZTTO 11-46 ULT cassette
- 105 Crankset with Stone 46T chainring
- Mixed 5D Carbon saddle
- Wellgo SPD pedals
- Weight just below 8kg

I really like the frame geometry, so I decided to build a second bike with the same frame set and 1x11 gearing to be mainly used for indoor cycling on a Tacx trainer.
First I tried to combine the GR9 brifters with a Shimano GRX 812 Garbaruk modded derailleur but could not get it to shift properly, therefore reverted to the original GR9 derailleur which works reasonably well.
The frame interior looks clean by checking with an endoscope camera and the paint job is OK, but not perfect. The BB is a T47 which installed without any problems. The only thing I do not like on this frame are the plastic head spacer parts which require quite a lot of tension from the head cap to get all the play out in the fork bearings.
In case of questions, please let me know.   ;)

Metal Frames / Re: Titanium Gravel bike: PYTitans build thread

Hello Ostriker

The C-Wind fork uses M5x10 screws, to make it look nice I used some that are usually used for 6 bolt disc breaks.
Here an example: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005495067094.html

Of course if you need to fix some rails, you may choose longer screws instead.

Hello @kubackje

Sorry for the late response, I have not been very active on bike builds in the past few months...
I was never completely happy with the original seat post, the fixation of the angle was not very stable until I put a lot of carbon paste inside which finally stopped the occasional slip.
Other than that the seat post was comfortable but was changed to a generic seat post with different clamp that allows 7x9mm carbon rails to be used. Comfortable and stable at the same time.

The bike is working great and I am loving the geometry and ride feel after more than 3'000km.
I like to try some new things, here the updated setup:
- PYTitans Gravel frame Size 52
- Racework N1 Carbon cranks with BSA BB an 42 Tooth chain ring
- Sigeyi Power meter
- Shimano GRX600 breaks
- OG Evkin: Stem, Handlebar and Headset
- Generic: Carbon seat post with 25mm offset for 7x9mm carbon rails
- Elita One Carbon Saddle (Prologo copy 143mm wide)
- Elite Wheels 32mm/35mm with RD13 Hubs and Panaracer Gravelking SS 38mm Tubeless tires.
- Shimano GRX600 brifters and GRX RX812 Derailleur
- ZTTO 11-46 Casette
- Garbaruk Deraileur Cage with 15Tooth Meroca Pulley to get the 11-46 cassette to shift smoothly

If in Europe check R2-bike.com they have the 810's Brifters and brakes on sale:

Looking forward to see your build and ride report.
This frame ticks many boxes and with the 32mm max. tire width it would be a great allrounder.

My experience with the 45mm Elite Wheels Edge set after roughly 2000km:
- Great stability
- Very light
- Combined with 28mm GP5000 and Ridenow TPU tubes
- No issues with the 36T ratchet Freehub

I can really recommend the wheel set.
