Re: Goldix 21-spoke 2:1 spoke ratio disc hubs I think it will ultimately depend on your size and how much power you can put out. I don't really buy the idea that only one side of the hub has to transmit torque from the cassette or brake disc since the hub is rigid.

Why would radial spoke be OK on the brake side of the rear wheel? You can put similar amounts of torque with the rear brake as with the drivetrain.

Re: Carbonda fork vibration Thanks for the suggestions. I tightened it last night and will give it a test ride this weekend.

Re: Carbonda fork vibration I've put about 20 miles on it since tightening the top cap bolt and it feels solid now. I have an Origin8 expansion plug and will be replacing the Carbonda plug. Hopefully that keeps it solid.

Re: Another Seaboard GR02
Congrats, efficient and nice looking build. Curious how the EVA bar & kinesiology tape will hold up.
I have been considering something similar myself, not being a particular fan of the grip & feel of most EVA tapes.
Personally I would prefer a thinner solution - comparable to the SRAM Super Suede, but at Chinercost...

So far the kinesiology tape is holding up, although I only have about 90 miles on it. (Half with gloves, half without) It is a bit dirty though. Maybe it's the color, but it does seem to hold and show dirt more than most other tapes. It does feel nice though.

Re: Another Seaboard GR02 I'm really enjoying this bike. I built it up as a commuter but I've taken it on a few of the local dirt roads. I also brough it along on a trip to Las Vegas and rode the bike path from Boulder City down to the Hoover Dam. It handles really well. It feels much more like a road bike than my Carbonda 707, although the 707 is far better on rougher trails. The Seaboard would be a great frame for an all-road / light gravel build.

Re: Carbonda Gravel Carbon frame CFR707
If this has been covered in the thread, I can’t seem to find it (except for one guy who tightened it to 5nm)…what torque are people setting the integrated seatpost clamp bolt to? I don’t want to over torque but I know some people have had trouble with slippage.

I’m using an alloy zero-offset post (Raceface Turbine) in my build so I guess carbon paste isn’t as necessary but my plan is to use some on the back of the post and leave the contact area with the internal clamp dry.
I'm using about 5nm on my seatpost clamp. I also used carbon paste liberally l.
