Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Pretty sure the coins are automatically deducted according to what percentage seller allows. The "coin" tab has sellers that have larger coin discounts.

Re: Rockrider ST900 20" upgrade Ended up doing quite a few changes:
as stated above, replaced crankset for easier climbing, new pedals (283g saving, much improved crank bearings), elitaone carbon seat and seat post (348g), uni stem (9g saving should have checked that first...) and 2 Schwalbe little joe tires (202g saving each). still waiting for a carbon handle bar. Total weight saved so far, 1,044g, and probably some more with the bar.
It's been fun working with my sons on changing all parts, teaching him about mechanicals and swearing in the confine of the garage!

Re: Magene P505 PES Base Spider Powermeter
I need a non-Boost fitment for SRAM 3 bolt (0mm offset). What are my options here?

I have a Sigeyi on my MTB. XCadey is another one.
However they continuously increased their prices these last years, and I often see good deals on Quarq ones.

I have installed a chairing to mine on the outside and measured the chainline. It is 48- 49mm. Maybe that can help you choose?
I am going to use it in a 1x configuration.

Re: Miracle / MIRA FS822 An important detail on this frame that anyone considering it needs to know!

In different places, there are 2 different shock sizes listed (184 and 190 eye to eye). I assumed this was an error. Mira confirmed the 190 length and I fitted a 190 shock. It fitted with some fiddling but wasn't right - and topped out as the rocker hit the seat tube.

I checked in with Mira again and they said I should use a 184 shock. After some conversation, it turns out there are 2 different shock linkages available. I had the wrong one. Mira shipped the correct one at no cost. Fitted easily and everything fits properly.

Mira have been really helpful. If you order this frame, make sure you specify which linkage you need. The listing of 2 sizes is not a mistake! Travel with each shock size is the same (ish! 44mm vs 45mm stroke).

Re: Elita One Carbon Hardware for Fox Transfer Dropper
On the quest for grams and inspired by 11.11 deals, I purchased the Elita One carbon hardware set for Fox Transfer dropper posts.  The kit comes with titanium hardware as well.

Overall, I am very impressed with the fit and finish of the kit.  I have~250 miles on it on my Transfer SL without issue.  It loosened up once on the first ride with the seat sliding back a bit.  Once tightened, it has been trouble free.

The weight savings is pretty great for the $15.xx purchase price.  34g (15g from Ti bolts, 19g from carbon plates) saved over factory hardware with no discernable downsides.  A recommended weight wienies mod for sure.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
Got the Rockbros bag ultimately, will see how it goes with gold/black color of the frame.

Also noticed there's sale on random Elitewheels but in extremely limited quantities.

If you look around, you might find Edge and other pro disc sets for a good discount + you can stack Aliex coupon code on top (in the USA at least).

Those wheels and that bag is here already.

Funny thing though, before placing the order I messaged another seller (AWST) and they said they are off for Chinese new year celebrations. I didn't place order with them but went ahead and got the Elitewheels for super cheap. No progress on it, no shipping for more than a week but I didn't message because of the new year.

Somehow on Saturday UPS knocked on the door and dropped them off - still no tracking on Aliexpress and order says in process still, yet to be shipped :S

As for the bag, it's good. No complaints about the quality. Rather small but goes well with the aero frameset. The color is also not green so that works for me too.

Re: Alternative for blipbox
Can SRAM blips be used with a Reverb AXS seatpost?

Currently, no. From what I understand, that functionality is unlikely.
