Good evening from Austria!

Has anyone had experiences with DNM suspension parts? In particular their rear shocks. I was thinking about getting either a air-sprung AOY-36RC or go for the more heavy duty coil sprung RCP3 shock. Strangely i need 190x51mm for my frame(that's what i measured) and it only gives right about 120mm of travel. It's a really cheap full sus with no real working shock or fork. I want to get a working shock without spending several hundred € on a name brand like Rockshox, Fox or Marzzocchi.
All the reviews i find online are either a 13yr old slightly obese american kid that acts all like"in da hood" or too short and very general ones.
Their website looks legit, genuine but with the alrdy well known google translator kinda english.
if there was alrdy made a thread about DNM, im sorry didn't find it now.

I built a Stumpjumper with an RCP3 coil.  Comes with a 550lb coil which was too much for me at 150lb.  400lb coil was much better.  Couple of surprises:  1)bushings had a different OD than anything I used before.  2) eye-to-eye measurement are on the longer end.  Used a 210mm shock that was easily close to 220mm.
Shock was sturdy with a decent rebound and compression control.  I ran compression wide open, but had a bad bob effect while pedaling.  Not a great climber.  But it was my first coil rear shock.  So don't have any comparative experience.  I ended up replacing with an air shock (fox float) mainly due to frame rubbing due to longer eye-to-eye.

When your refund is processed are you going to come back here and tell us how the lying, cheating, and stealing reseller gave you back your money?  No, I didn't think so.
I will be the first to report that here.  But I doubt it will be done unless compelled by paypal.  Its been days since last message with "you are refunded".  then crickets.

You're expecting a "Yes sir, right away sir!" from China, I think my expectations are reality.  "Share your values" and the Chinese 996 workforce are going to be oil and water unless you condone slave labor.

I have no I idea what this has to do with topic at hand.  I do business with 100+ countries.  I have employees in 15 countries.  I simply expect honest and direct communications.  Has nothing to do with where you live.

You ordered one frame, changed to another, and maybe the old frame went to paint and when it was ready they looked at it and said sheeeeeeit...  They'll make you one and give you a sweet bottom bracket and a bell as a free gift, it'll just take a few more months and you don't want to wait.  I get it, take your money elsewhere you don't have to be such a boomer about it.

Again your mileage may vary.  You seem OK with paying for crappy product and fine with misleading information.  Most of us who work hard for their money have a different reaction.  Live your life and stop telling others how they should react.

Other than that I see this process as a simple goods transaction and it looks like people want a white glove LBS service.

Why do people feel the need to convolute the extremes as if that makes their point much more viable.  Since when was lying cheating and stealing a close neighbor of white glove LBS service.  You expect the worst and such are never disappointed.  What a way to live and to transact.  The rest of us expect more and will only do business with those that share our values.

Enjoy your FS830 frame.  I hope you don't have the same 831 frame experience as someone on this board breaking their color bone due to poof pivot design.

What are you talking about? This forum and plenty of others are filled with positive experiences from many different resellers.

I was about to make the same point.  The idea of a platform like CHINERTOWN is to help people weed out bad actors and let people make own decisions.  I personally had incredible luck with frame suppliers quality and finish (shipping delays not withstanding).  So lumping this outlier as what we should all expect is naive.

You'll either get a frame or your money but neither one will come quickly from China.  Good luck and don't expect a different experience from any other reseller.

That's incredible.  I'm pushing 60 and have been ordering from china for nearly 20 years.  Giving questionable characters a pass is how we got to this place.  Never had a fraud experience with any Frame dealer.  Yes some were late and not exactly as advertised.  Eddy and his company define a new low and apparently its OK because eventually they will ship a crappy product and maybe you will get your money back.

Fair Warning.  Ive had my share of liars and cheats in my dealings domestically and overseas.  But I have never experienced a more deceitful dealing than with Eddy and haidelibicycle.  I placed an order for an 831 frame early December.  But after reading all the negative reviews I quickly switched to the 830 frame.  I was assured the size I needed was in stock and the frame will be painted shortly.  After nearly 7 weeks of stalling (frame is being painted .....) I threatened to dispute the payment with paypal unless I received a shipment tracking for my address.  All of a sudden, someone made a mistake and only a black frame was available in my size.  I repeatedly asked to cancel the order and be refunded.  "Oh since you waited, we will send you a gift..." bull$it.   Finally, said in no uncertain terms, I was done with haidelibicycle and no longer want anything to do with them.  Eddy said refund was on the way.  Guess what no such refund or any acknowledgment.  I did file a dispute with paypal and provided the 10 pages of correspondence with Eddy (or whatever is his real name).  I dont know what will become of my payment.  Disregard this warning at you own expense.
