Re: Yishun R086-D Aero Road
And the R086-D ist this modell:
https://prorace.be/bikes/aero/randa/

What are the other ones from prorace.be?
https://prorace.be/bikes/aero/fusion-x/ ?
https://prorace.be/bikes/lightweight/cura/ ?

https://prorace.be/bikes/tofla/ ? ( this one looks very good and sporty vor an endurance...?)

Thank you for finding and sharing theese. The Tofla seems to be Yishun R068-D which is on my shortlist. I've been waiting to see it painted and built up. Seeing it now as a Tofla I must say it looks great for an endurance category bike. If only LightCarbon could adopt the R068-D so I can have it painted straight away also it would be perfect.

Re: Baldisio - Aerospeed [Venge/Dogma Fusion]: Who is the frame manufacturer? Great looking frame.

Workswell 368? Can't find a 368 model on their website. Do you mean 369?

Re: Elves Vanyar Pro Disc 2023 - UCI Approved
Considering their 'aero' frame wasn't designed in conjunction with any sort of CFD and has never been in a wind tunnel, I highly doubt these new aero claims are verified with any sort of actual accepted method of verification.

From what I've seen there is no point in paying a premium for this Elves brand over an established high quality OEM like Yishunbike or LightCarbon.

From what I’ve seen there are. Local dealer with support, five year warranty, fantastic paint jobs, uci approval and still way cheaper than a big brand frame. Offers discount on package deals with bars and wheels. I believe resell value would be higher also considering mentioned above.

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) @JimLee
Any photos of a fully built up frame?
When will super light version be available in sizes 56 and 58?

Re: Velobuild VB-R-177

Finished up my 177 build a couple of weeks ago and have been making a few final aesthetic touches.

Overall, really happy with how it turned out and how it rides. Zero issues putting the build together. Moved most of the parts over from my 168 except for the Magene Exar Ultra wheels which are new, carbon saddle from AliX and tubeless version of the Goodyear Eagle F1s I was running prior (which were constantly getting flats btw).

VeloBuild VB-R-177 frame
Magene EXAR Ultra 50/58 wheelset
Magene P325CS Dual PM
Hammerhead Karoo 2 computer
Magene L508 radar light
ZTTO BB86 threaded ceramic BB
MIXED Ultra Light 7D MAX Carbon Saddle 140MM
Goodyear Eagle F1 tubeless tires
11sp Di2 frankenmix
L-TWOO ospw

Really happy I made the switch, the 177 is not only a bit lighter but the main highlight coming over from the 168 I would say is how much stiffer it feels. I also like that although I think it's modelled after a Scott Addict, it looks a bit more unique given how common the SL7 which the 168 is designed after is. I think it's Velobuilds best road frame.

Currently using the original HB011 bars from my 168 which I'm considering swapping as it's the only piece with noticeable flex now that I have a stiffer frame and wheels. Only issue I had was that the moulding where the rear hanger outer piece goes seems to have some excess material, which changes the angle of the thread a bit and make the TA screw in a bit tougher than it should be. Aside from that, everything was smooth.

Would you say that the 177 is harsher to ride, because being stiffer than 168?

Re: Velobuild VB-R-177
Do you know if there is a straight seatpost for this frame? Seatpost without backset?

This frame uses a standard round 27,2mm seat post. You can replace it with any 27,2mm seat post.

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)
Do you guys know a suitable handlebar which is 360 or 380mm wide?

LC has only an 400 wide option. With 370 shoulders not ideal.

Check if theese might be suitable. Available as  380mm.

Re: TanTan FM202 Og-evkin QONQI VeloBuild VR066 VBR066 is an easy and cheap pick. Fairly good quality based on user reports.

My pick.. Non classic cut but good quality and endurance geo would be the Carbonda CFR1056. Also 32mm tire clearance and you can choose fully or semi-internal routing of cables. There is a comprehensive CFR1056 thread here on Chinertown.

Edit: Or if you must have a classic cut without dropped seat stays. Why not go for the super popular gravel Carbonda CFR696? Good quality, relaxed geo, great tire clearance and mounting points for bags/racks/fenders.
