Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame
Do you have a spec for your build? Mine is 7.9kg's and I'd like to try and loose a bit of weight on it  :)

I've also used mine with no problems on my Wahoo Kickr Core trainer. Did maybe 300 km's on it before the weather improved and I've been outdoors since with around 3,500km's clocked so far this year on my 168.

I’ll do a more detailed review soon hopefully, but in short: Juin tech, sensah empire pro, lightweight rotors, bottlecage, bar tape, rims, tubes, tires etc. Or in other words: researching every single part considering cost vs weight also.

I might consider doing a YouTube video if there’s enough interest and time, let’s see.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame Has anyone tried to mod their vbr 168 seatpost, as for example in the following thread on ww?
Not just for weight but to reduce the offset.
https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=112588

I was confirmed by velobuild that they only offer one seatpost, and it’s with 20mm offset.
I got a nice fit so far according to myvelofit, but the offset is a painpoint. And assuming you’re not short legged with a long torso, same applies to you too.

Re: Yoleo H9 handlebars Great bars. Better than my standard velobuilds on the 168.
Just a bit pricy for China considering I asked for no decal and they shipped with decal.
Not as bad as velobuild though who sent me a glossy bar when I ordered a matte black.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame
Is there any news for the 0 offset  seatpost?

So it looks like velobuild wants 50 pre-orders this time to realize this forum request.
Is anyone willing to drive this?

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame Re zero offset post: I once got them to confirm that if we are 50 buyers, they’d make it. So far I guess we’re below that number or am I wrong?

Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame Chris on seatpost compatibility with the 168: it doesn’t fit because the 268 seatpost is wider

What a bummer

Re: Chinese cycling clothes My experience with YKY: amazing quality but sizing can be trial and error without consistency across models.

Their longsleeve jerseys run 1-2 sizes larger though. I bought European M and it was definitely at least an L.
On the contrary, their short sleeved jerseys fit true to size. A European M is an actual M.

Re: Magene P505 PES Base Spider Powermeter
That will only be possible if you have bought the separate PM and not the PM + crank combo (505 base).
As I have stated before, you can not use that PM with another crank since they use a unique interface.

Yes that was fully understood, already got the product saved. Thanks again

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! My 2 cents on bottles and I don’t want to open a discussion about health here…

but with all concerns about BPA and it’s modifications and health concerns, I’m not exactly trusting entirely unregulated plastic bottle manufacturers from Aliexpress. I’m all in for unbranded Chinese products otherwise, but feel like that in this case it’s not exactly worth even the potential risk. After all normal branded bottles are so cheap in absolute terms.
