ELITA ONE Carbon Saddle MTB/Road Bike saddle Super Light Leather Carbon Cushions 96g
https://a.aliexpress.com/_Exam3oT
Interestingly, the saddles at your link are about 60% cheaper than where I've been buying them for years: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32808616991.html

At first, I couldn't spot any differences, as the shop has the same name.
Now, I'm wondering which one is the official store?  ;D

On my link, they provide excellent communication and replacements in case of a faulty product

Love it! I recently built a Carbonda FM1001 for my wife. Your daughter is lucky!

...Elita1 Specialized Power clone...

Do you have the link around ?

I could find one with 135mm width, but not even on the Lexon Store:

Did you order it ?
It is confusing if it is 135 or 140mm.

Vendor Discussion & Reviews / Re: 007Bike on AliExpress

I would say months

Yep. I tried few months ago too, and they were already off.
Too bad, as they were a reliable provider.

Pretty much an Aethos clone

But with the option to put an integrated handlebar.
The original is 1 1/8 on top.

Just arrived in the mail. I haven't ridden on it yet but looks nice, very stiff.  Only complaint about it, is the top cap area, there's room for improvement on the fit of that.  Got this for $120 USD.

A pity for their top cap...  I'm about to try the gravel version for a new build:

After The Ride / Re: How addictive is bike building?!

I did my first build earlier this year...
...
Am I the only addict?

At only one bike, you can still stop before it is too late  8)

I've a rockshox Judy TK on my bike. Use it in the Caribbean and in the Netherlands quite often. Hadn't serviced it for 5 years. Decided to do a full service myself. All the seals were still in good condition. Couldn't see the difference with the new ones. I think the lowers were just low in oil; the oil spills ever so slowly through the wiper seals during usage. The uppers were impeccable.
In my case refreshing the oil of the lowers and a change of the wiper seals (half an our job, no special tools, less then 20 euros) would have been enough.

Thank you for your feedback.
I have a couple of SID forks that have about this age if not more, never serviced them.
They were ridden in all kind of conditions, sometimes harshly.
I will try your light maintenance.

Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: LTWOO eGR

Could not resist the eGR offer during the current sales with a 40$ coupon...
Let's see how this works out...

What cassette/chain/chainring do you plan to have with it ?

Is it easy to install the GP 5000 tubetype on them ? Which one looks better between 23 and 25 mm ?

Just a note about the GP5000 tubeless, the second generation is much easier to put on than the first(was a nightmare in general).
I was even able recently to put them and inflate them using a floor pump, without a compressor.
So maybe you can scout forums to know if the new tube type generation is easier too.

How about the Maxxis Re-fuse? Does anyone have experience with these?

They are the slowest apparently  8)

Thanks a lot for your feedback; at the end I think i will go with Spcycle g058, for geometry (I tetsed a cannondale Topstone of a friend in size m and was quite ok, but if the future gravel should be little shorter I think is better for me) and design. I am considering solid or metallic paint; do their paint job worth the extra money?
Thanks

Just a note about Carbonda. $200 over the life of your bike is nothing, just maybe waiting a few months to save that extra amount if cash is tight.
I'm a fan of Carbonda because of the service that comes with it in case of trouble.
I ordered dozens of frames from them and never one failed, which is already something, but got some shipping loss... and they took care of everything.
And their new 505 model tick many good boxes for me.

Component Deals & Selection / Re: Alternative for blipbox
« on: March 25, 2024, 12:12:36 PM »
Currently, no. From what I understand, that functionality is unlikely.

No, I tried at my last FM909 build, and confirm they don't work with the seatpost.
I thought it was the same as changing rings by pressing both together, but the seatpost seems to have a different need.
There was rumors for a firmware update that didn't arrive, so I kept them, but they are now rotting, waiting for a potential future use.

Just for the eyes as nothing is in English.
My Karoo is getting warm again when charging, and will probably die again soon.
I did start to look around for a change, and this is falling just in time...
