I just ordered the FLX-FR-701 for a project build. In the tech specs online it calls for a BB92. My question is on the headset size. I could not find out what combo I need to order for the taper head tube. I see that it mimics the CS-496 frame that was built upon this site. So, I searched for the topic in the 496 builds, but it looks like that frame came with a headset from the factory and there was no mention of the sizes used. Anyone that built a 496 know what headset size was used? would it be best to measure when the frame gets here in a couple of weeks? Thanks for any input

Most Chinese frames come with this type of headset:

The frame came today. It arrived in one piece. Heads up if you order the FLX-FR-701 it does not come with the through axle, you have to source that your self, it is not mentioned on the website. looking forward to building this frame out.

Axles are coming quite recently with the frame, before you had to find compatible ones yourself.
Good luck and fun with your build !

Is the picture posting to the site not on anymore? I was going to post some pictures up of my build.

I did that to avoid it to show the image here.

Here is the painted frame.
I used a 2 part epoxy primer from Eastwood to start. Then I used some orange and grey/blue paint from Toyota for the basecoat. Then topped it with 3 coats of gloss clear.

The "Blue basecoat after tapeing the orange" link is the same image as "orange in the place..."
Did you use cans or an air-gun ?
Have fun with the build!

Cans. my air compressor is not set up for spraying, just filling tires.
the link should be fixed in the photos.

So... how is it? Looking at the same frame for a 29+ trail build. Need some more pics especially with the finished paint :)
