Title: 29er XC Boost Hardtail Frame...
Post by: nos on February 17, 2020, 04:28:41 PM
Hi, I'm going to make a new bike to compete in XC and I was looking through different 29er BOOST frames. Among what I have looked for, I have seen that these 3 brands are the best choice:

- Pro-Mance
- HongFu Bikes
- TanTan Sports
- FlyXII

Which of these brands do you recommend to make a new XC Hardtail 29er? Is there any better?

I want a frame with the same specs like this frame in 18" size:

Regards.

Did you check this one?
http://www.carbonda.com/mountain/mtb/97.html
It has a similar geometry, except a 1° slacker seat tube angle.

I have looked at these bike frames:

http://www.miraclebikes.com/Product/detail/id/12.html
https://www.lightcarbon.com/lightweight-new-boost-carbon-mtb-bike-frameset_p42.html
http://www.carbonda.com/mountain/mtb/97.html
http://www.flyxii.com/PRODUCTSDetial?product_id=257

Which bike frame has the measures more similar to the bike frame that I put before in 18" size?:

You can do some homework ;) and compare the geometry files of each bike.
Or use Sketchup for instance, to draw the frames, and superpose them to see the differences.

I quickly scanned this morning, both geometry Radon's and Carbonda's site( I'm not affiliated with them, just I like the quality of their products and they are my default go-to-shop for now ).
http://www.carbonda.com/mountain/mtb/97.html
And except a 1° slacker angle of the seat tube, they were almost similar.
However you have a 17.5" and 19" on Carbonda's site, not 18", if I remember well.
