Hey guys, sorry for all these questions but I'm confused on what exactly I need to get for a headset.
I've tried reading https://canecreek.com/everything-you-need-to-know-about-headsets/ and I get the gist of what it does but there are so many flippin choices on different sizes on headsets that I'm confused.
I ordered the AM831. I have 2020 RockShox Lyrik Ultimate Fork with 160mm travel. Which headset do I need?
cybersrce mentions "Cane Creek Helllbender 70 IS42/52". Will getting that work for my case too? or will I need something else due to my fork? Sorry..this is my first bike build so lots of newbie questions. thx

Yes, that model of Cane Creek should work. I think *any* IS42/52 should work, but that model has been specifically verified to fit well.

yeah dammm...that sucker is PRICY!!! haha... This is the unit, right? https://www.worldwidecyclery.com/products/cane-creek-hellbender-70-headset-is42-28-6-is52-40-black
Any cheaper IS 42/52's out there? For a little thing, man it's more than I'd like to spend. I'm willing to do it if it's the end-all/be-all unit. I don't want to sound like a cheap @ss but just would like to do a reasonable build. thx

You can use the headset that ships with the frame - use a star nut and different top cap if you want.
