Dear all, do you have some suggestions about a comfortable saddle for gravel riding?
I see some good reviews on ec90 saddles from aliexpress; all suggestions are welcome.
thanks

I had no issues buying from SPCycle. Though I would order from AliExpress, plus use a credit card for an extra layer of protection. This way you can bring up a dispute through AliEx and as a last resort do a charge back through your credit card provider. I would make sure they send you photos of the frame before shipping, video record your unboxing and double check the entire frame before assembling. I do this with all my bike frameset purchases. Also check if they have your frame already in-stock, it'll speed up the shipping process. My frame in-stock arrived in exactly 14 days to my doorstep in the USA. The frame itself was okay, the interior carbon wasn't as clean as either my TFSA built road bike or my Taiwan made carbon gravel frame. I needed to sand the disc fork hole to fit the brake cable. Plus I'm not a fan of PF BB86, but I used a threaded PF bottom bracket that's been creak free and spinning just fine.

I'm still riding my SPCycle road frame with no problems. Stiff ride, but fast.
Thanks a lot for your feedback. On Ali thwe protection period is limited to the first 14 days, if I remember well? On the Spcycle website I can pay with paypal, dont know if is different from Ali in case of troubles when the frame arrives

Same here, out of the 4 framesets I ordered from china the past few years the Carbonda 696 was my first and the whole process went the smoothest. I also think you have the best chance at warranty if something goes wrong. With most Ali sellers the chance on getting warranty is very slim...
For Spcycle I think to go directly on theri website, is cheaper than their shop in ali

Some experiences with Spcycle official sotre recently? I'm considering to buy a gravel frame directly from website.
Some issues? delay? Everything ok?
Thanks

Thanks a lot for your feedback; at the end I think i will go with Spcycle g058, for geometry (I tetsed a cannondale Topstone of a friend in size m and was quite ok, but if the future gravel should be little shorter I think is better for me) and design. I am considering solid or metallic paint; do their paint job worth the extra money?
Thanks

Daer all, I've recently ordered Senicx crankset for a low budget gravel project; from the description or user's reviews I can't understand if the 3 screws for gxp chainring are included or I need to do a dedicated order. Someone with similar crankset found the screws in the box?
thanks

There's like 5mm gap between the chainstay and the chain (on the upper pulley), when B-tension is set correctly. If that's what you meant?
Thanks for informations.
What I meas is if with small chainring the chain is close to the lower chainstay in the front of rear triangle, just near the chainring.

Size XS. Wheels from Leon.

7,9kg including pedals, bottle mounts & frame bag.

Paint job is not very high quality, chips easily from edges. Otherwise no big issues.
Great bike and nice color!
Can I ask you if with chain on smallest cog and on 34t chainring, the chain touch orr i very close to the chainstay?
thanks

Not yet! It is supposed to arrive in the UK on the 25th March....that will be nearly two months from ordering a standard paint colour (turquoise).  At least SP have been responsive on Ali Messenger and I have bought frames from them before so am not fretting too much.

The tracks, roads and trails round me are so water-logged still that it probably hasn't impacted my riding too much.  I'll post some pics as soon as it arrives.

The build will be:

GRX800 1x
ElitaOne post (120gr after cutting down) & saddle (120gr)
80mm Uno stem
180gr Compact carbon road bar
Handbuilt Novatec/Sapim/Pacenti 25s I have hanging around from a commuting build
Silly light rotors from Ali Express
Panaracer GK SK43 run tubeless
XTR SPDs

....an probably some heavy-ass mudguards for most of the year.

Interested to see if it is actually any faster than my SPCyles M-05 XC hardtail with 2.35 Thunder Burt/Racing Ralph combination on milder trails.  This is going to be a winter build in due course so it doesn't really matter! I suspect I know the answer though: it won't be any faster....not that it matters.  Who wants to be first home anyway - particularly when 75% of my rides are solo.
Thanks for informations.
Do you buy the frame from aliexpress or directly in Spcycle site?
There are some differences?
Thanks
