Title: Hello, and what's happened to Carbonality?
Post by: Giraffoto on January 10, 2016, 07:23:06 AM
Hi there! New user, second post:  I have a 29er with an aluminium frame at the moment, but have been planning for some time to swap the frame out for a carbon 29er. Carbonal's Orion seemed just perfect for me, and I'df hoped to order one about now, but the website's disappeared. Does anyone know if they're still in business?

Hi Girraffoto

I've already seen their website down several times, I guess they have some "stability" issues with it
last post on their Facebook page is dated of the @#rd of December...

nothing in their post let me think that are going to stop their business, but who really knows  ???

Carbonality appears now to be JM Trex:

Although the website is just the tiniest bit work-in-progress at the moment. I may well change my plan to the 256-SL frame.

That's odd, thanks for the heads up. I actually thought carbonality was one of the better names/websites. Maybe the new one will be even better.

Have you considered the 041 or 062? I'd probably go with either of those over the 256. Cmh has made a new, and pretty informative comparison thread in case you haven't seen it: http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,833.0.html
