Hey guys, new to the forum. Trying to build a light 26er for my 11yo.
Finding frames easily. forks are tougher.

I have this one and have had good luck with it. It's the same height as a 110mm 26er suspension fork. But yes it is a 29er fork.

My 14y old kid is doing fine with a rigid fork.
The idea was to start with this(relatively cheap), and if it was too harsh for his writs, we would choose a suspension fork and keep the rigid as a backup.
I asked him recently how it goes, and he said he preferred his lighter setup, compared to his friends bikes.
