I'm wondering what advice people have with regard to max inner chain rings on the Chiner frames? At the moment I'm trying to decide whether to order an IP256 or IP057 and will be going with a BSA bottom bracket.

I have a 32T XX1 ring on my IP-057, I would think a 34T should fit no problem. Not sure about anything bigger than that.

32t raceface ring/shimano crank on 057 here.. 34t will be fine.. bigger than that, not sure:

I can confirm that 34T is really close. I'm using a 34T XX1 crank gxp crank on ip-057.
In this picture the bottom bracket is chimmed to get the straithest chainline, if i move chimms around it would be possible tho fit 36T

hwahl, What do you mean by the straightest chainline?
Putting the chain on the sprocket in the middle of the cassette, and having it straight with the chain ring?
-
Yes that is what I ment. I Noticed that when i installed the bottom bracket as discribed in the manual one spacer at each side the chain lined up with the 9 - 8 th gear. Instead I put the spacers on the non drive side and it lines up better with the other gears.
By the way Im running BSA BB. It could be another story if you got the pressfit BB
