Component Deals & Selection / How do you guys remove bearings from a bottom bracket?

Someone told me i should buy a cheap screw in pressfit bb but swap the bearings. How would i do this? I know wheels mfg has one for like $200 but can someone throw me an aliexpress link if theyve done it? Thanks

Also, taking recommendations for bearings to replace it with.

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Dengfu R12 - has anyone experienced speed wobbles with other open molds?

I have an r12 and i get speed wobbles at about the 40 kmph mark, which is 25 mph. its bad where i cant even stay against the shoulder, im afraid to. It wasnt terribly windy today, under 5mph MAX and i have 50mm deep wheels. Anyone know the cause of this or has anyone had a similar issue with other open molds? Im scared to ride it down anything steep because i went down maybe a 7-8% and held it at 40 kph and it scared the hell out of me. i had to keep touching the brakes. the handlebar/headset looked straight, i could realign it and see if it helps but im kind of out of options. I want to narrow down what the issue is though so my thought process in steps is

swap wheels - i have heavier box cyclocross ones so i can tell if its the wheels (why would it be the wheels, lol, ill put the deep dish on my gravel bike too.) Ill check my handlebar/headset after that.

Im in the market for a computer with a nav system so i can go exploring. Anyone have experience with these? I currently have the g+ But i was thinking of the sprint or the igs520. The igs520 is like 70-80 more than the sprint. Also open to other companies if anyone has experience.

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Dengfu fm098 seatpost slowly slipping even with resin tape

I have the new seatpost woth the resin but mt seatpost is still slowly slipping. I bought some carbon paste so im going to see if that helps but id say i need to adjust it every ride or two (4-6 hours) it foes from a 2 mark to a 3 mark. Im also heavy at 230 lbs so that could be an issue... you guys think the paste will help, anyone else having this issue currently and know of a solution?

Looking at a bike that has integration like the dogma f12. The only cable showing is the rim brake cable for the front. Anyone know of one like this? The trifox x8 has the cables routed behind the stem and theres no way to get a low profile with that unless i run cable wrap.

I know venge knockoffs are either a hit or a miss, to which im assuming this guys making counterfeit ones? Im assuming these arent the real ones just being made on the side.

Specialized tarmac for instance and the scott addict ultimate have frames that are sub 850, the addict being about 740 grams. I can buy an r01 ultralight and such but all them have outer cables.

Are there any frames that are fully integrated at around the 800g weight?

anyone buy ospw's and ceramic bbs from aliexpress? any reviews on them long term? Im afraid if i buy either of them theyll crap out in 6 months. i dont plan to ride them when its pouring rain as itll be on my more expensive endurance bike, but.

anyone rocking all in one carbon handlebars? whered you get them from? lightbicycle ( might be lightcarbon, i forget) has one that i like (people say theyre nice) but they have an moq or it requires buying a frame from them. arent they partnered with another company? I remember i looked at their partner company and they have some in stock.

I mean my budget is $200-$300 but id like to see if theres anything cheaper where theres a somewhat good warranty and you guys have had nothing but amazing stuff from. the farsports f1 is appealing but its $300+ so im open to anything. let me know thanks.

ive bought two frames and the second ones in the mail but it takes 45ish days for it to come from china (flown) to my door. 90% of that delay is usps. its stuck in customs for 2 weeks and then sits in a regional warehouse for another two-3 weeks. like wtf i just want to ride

Hi im wondering if anyone owns a dengfu r12 disc. I know one review said it had bad brake alignment and melody said they fixed it. I have one in the mail currently, stuck in customs.

Also, does anyone know what its supposed to replicate in terms of name brand? the fm098 is only like 2 degrees more slack or something like that and besides the seat clamp its identical to the 2013 venge. Is there an equivalent for the r12? people suggested canyon, too far off. some suggested the merida reacto, also too far off. open to any ideas and ill check geometry geeks! if anyone has a premium subscription to geometrygeeks itll definitely narrow it down
