Hello,

I ordered carbon aerobar on Aliexpress and spacers separately. I noticed that the spacers were not a perfect fit because there is a gap between the carbon and the spacer. Do you think this is dangerous since the contact point is not uniform?

What do you prefer and why for aero bike ? (Performance, comfort, puncture resistance,...)

Please, don't talk about tubeless  ;D.

I have not seen any latex tube on Aliexpress, only TPU tube (Ridenow seems to be the cheapest and greatest quality).

I have the Giant SLR 2 36 mm (disc - tubeless) and I want to upgrade it. I found two models :
- Elite edge 40 mm
- ICAN Aero 40

Do you have a preference or advice ? Or will you recommend another model for around 700 USD ?

Hello,

I'm considering changing my Hygge Model S handlebar to a carbon handlebar with aerobar.  I spotted this one :

What do you think ? Particularly in terms of strength because I had read that carbon handlebars had to be reinforced with resin or fiber to avoid breaking above aerobar.

I have tried to identify all the components that require the application of a product before being installed on a carbon road bike.

Please feel free to correct me or add other components that I may have forgotten :

Headset bearing : Grease
Stem on the fork : Carbon paste
Handlebar on the stem : Carbon paste
Stem bolt: Blue thread lock
Front and rear caliper bolt : Blue thread lock
Front derailleur mounting bolt : Blue thread lock
Rear derailleur mounting bolt : Anti-seize (not sure)
Seatpost : Carbon paste
Threaded BB (like BSA 68 mm) : Anti-seize
Pedals : Anti-seize (not sure)
Thread of the thru axle : Anti-seize (not sure)
Middle of the thru axle : Grease
Freewheel body : Grease
Crankset : Grease
