Vendor Discussion & Reviews / Any vendors that accept Bitcoin?

I'm not a huge Bitcoiner or anything, but this is a situation that seems like a no brainer to be able to pay using the digital currency. I think the PayPal fee is something like 4% of transaction? So a thousand dollar order will be an extra $40 in total cost after the fee, and that's before shipping.. Seems if we could eliminate that fee entirely that would just make the whole chiner option even more enticing and affordable. Some online retailers that accept Bitcoin even offer up to like a 5% discount when you choose to pay with Bitcoin.. I think it'd def be awesome to see something like that from a carbon supplier.

Anyways, that just occurred to me and I thought I'd share it.

Thought you guys might be interested in this article. Doesn't seem too far fetched that in 20 years we could be all 3D printing our own bike frames. Pretty crazy and exciting what technology might be like in the short term future.

It uses lasers to continually weld powdered metals, then uses CNC to finish up the item. The end result is extraordinarily precise and useful.

Component Deals & Selection / The best 120-140mm fork for $3-$400?

Okay fellas, much appreciate the info I've gotten here so far. Now I was hoping to get a crowd consensus on the best 120-140mmm fork for preferably less than $400. I could go that high bit I REALLY don't want to. I've been reading a lot about the X-fusion forks that have popped up on a few threads here but just wandering what kind of deals some of you guys were able to find on other forks?? Want to keep my options open.

29er / Should I get the 057 or 256??

Hey guys.. Great forum idea, I could see this being a great resource in the future!

Total newb here, planning to jump in head first into my own carbon build. I was wondering if one of you guys could advise me on the differences between the IP 057 and the newer IP 256 frames?
