Looks like a frame from topcarbon.

Reviving this thread. I have a friend looking to run this hub with a campagnolo freehub. I can't find this hub stock with the campag freehub but dtswiss make a campagnolo freehub for the DTswiss ratchet hubs. Does anyone have any idea if a genuine dtswiss 350 campagnolo freehub body would fit This hub? See pics attached of dtswiss campag freehub.

Elite ENT with upgraded pillar 1420 spokes for $50 is the best bang for your buck.

6903 in this case. I went with a company before called "British bearing company" ended up being absolutely crap

Sick of paying £15 per bearing for decent performance. Sick of paying £5 per bearing for horrible performance. Anyone know of any good value bearings that last or is it really just what you pay for is what you get? Any way to buy them in bulk to save money? Just ordered some more "premium" bearings from AliExpress. Will report back on their performance.

I bought kocevlo carbon handlebars and they were creaking and cracking just tightening the stem, pieces of junk, lateral flex is horrible, breakable easily. I bought a generic one thats so freaking solid and i ride that on my backup road bike. 100-200 miles in and nothing but perfection.

So kocevlo is a turn off, maybe i just got a bad handlebar but i wouldnt put the lack of quality past them. Og evkin ive heard decent thongs about but im also hesitant about them. The provlem i see is that a name brand ospw is $250 (not ceramic speed, nova maybe?) maybe even 300. But a “name brand” chinese one is $150 and you just dont know the quality, tbh if i were to look at one of those i might just buy the name brand for double the price. Frames are a different story. Didnt realize how hit or miss, even shite the bearings are or can be

Kocevelo is not a brand. They just get stuff from different factories and slap a sticker on it. The OSPW is identical to ceramic speed, even the carbon pattern. One key design aspect is that it uses a little ramp to make installation easier (same as ceramic speed). Not something you will find on any other OSPW at this price point.

I thought trace velo used Shimano shifters with sensah?

I have been thinking about a solution to getting hydro braking on a sensah groupset. Swapping out the shifters and brake calipers for 105 ones should do the trick. I plan to try it soon. It is an expensive upgrade and will double the cost of the groupset. I could also try the dreaded ugly RS505 shifters and calipers

I can also approve of the NRC glasses posted by carbonazza. I have the photochromatic version with a few other colours. Like I already said the photochromatic works... Just not very well. Glasses themselves are fantastic and lenses are easy to change. Having rimless glasses is brilliant, I hate wearing anything else now.

Beautiful build.

Just to clarify... is it possible to run cables internally?

I know some people prefer running external cables for maintenance reasons but I'm just considering this build with internal cables.

I have been looking for the same thing, here is what I have found:
Giant Clip on bars (might not fit)
Canyon H36 clip on bars (might not fit)
Venge clip on bars (expensive)
Syncros (already posted)
Control tech falcon (already posted)

Let me know if you have any success

Hi,

anybody experience wiht glasses from aliexpress

thinking about buying this one,
https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005002505359569.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_groupList.8148356.23.633f3340aUyBZY

If buying glasses I'd definitely look for a pair with more reviews. Also I second what others have said... The photochromatic effect is not very pronounced at all and is really only good for rides starting at 5am when it is dark and finishing when it is sunny.

Component Deals & Selection / Re: ZRace Disc Brakes
« on: May 25, 2021, 12:47:49 PM »
Hi!

I finally got my bike ready. I mounted these brakes and they actually work very well, only about 15min of work to place them and get them to work perfect! I wouldn't say they work as well as my full hydraulic set up but they come very close (I guess around 90% of the braking power)! I used Shimano disc rotors and pads and fully internal cables (jagwire compressionles housing). The brakes are very responsive and they work very well. Especially for the price!

I was kind of worried because of the bad reviews they are getting lately but as long as you set them up right they are brilliant!

What shifters are you using?
