Sick of paying £15 per bearing for decent performance. Sick of paying £5 per bearing for horrible performance. Anyone know of any good value bearings that last or is it really just what you pay for is what you get? Any way to buy them in bulk to save money? Just ordered some more "premium" bearings from AliExpress. Will report back on their performance.

I love my disc brake bike for every day riding but I am thinking of building up a 1x aero rocketship for crit racing on flat courses. I want to keep the sleek integration (no cables) of the disc bike with the aero and weight benefits of rim brakes. Some name brand models that fit this description are the Venge vias and rim brake Madone. Is anyone aware of any Chinese manufacturers that produce such a frame?

Component Deals & Selection / Thinkrider Power Direct Drive Turbo.

I have been in the market for a cheap direct drive turbo for a while now and I decided to pull the trigger on a Thinkrider Power. I got the turbo for £200 plus £50 shipping from spain which means no added tax and hopefully faster shipping time. I struggled to find any good reviews of the product but it definitely looks pretty good. I have a magene power meter so I dont require accurate power or smart features from the trainer. The trainer has a resistance of a 5% slope and a 1500 watt max resistance so it should be ideal for some zwift races over winter.

If anyone else has experience with the trainer id love to hear your stories and if not ill keep you updated with my own!

I have the A9 frame on order and it should be here in a few days. Has anyone here ever bought a frame from ICAN before? I have read some great reviews on their wheels so I decided to chance buying a frame from them. I fell in love with the 2021 Merida Reacto and the ICAN A9 is very similar looking so i just went for it. I'll keep this thread updated with pictures and build progress.
