Re: Gravel bike project
Would personally go for a push fit bb to avoid bonding issues with the t47 shell.

Bonding issues are a lot more rare than press fit issues.

Re: Gravel bike project I'll prefer threaded BB over PF, be it good ol' BSA or T47. I'm seeing a lot of Chiner frames are BSA/T47 now a days (over BB386) from just a year ago and I'm glad.

Re: Gravel bike project
My biggest issue is to pick proper bottom bracket which will suit that frame with T47 and this crankset

https://www.bike-discount.de/en/shimano-grx-fc-rx600-2x11-speed-crank-46/30

Frame is listed as BBT47 (86.5 mm)

I found something like this:

But i am not sure.

T47-24(86.5mm)for shimano crank, use the 1mm shim on nds (supplied)

Re: Gravel bike project I've just finished building up this frame (although it is the Tantan GR048 with integrated cables). The quality of the frame looks good, and the headset area is uniform. The bearings fit securely without being difficult to press in. The frame also looked good on the inside, very smooth with no crinkles visible. Assembly went smoothly, but routing a mechanical groupset through the handlebars would've been a nightmare; even with Di2 it was tight in some spots. The full build with bottle cages, computer mount and pedals is 9.1kg. With a lighter saddle and removing the many heavy screws in the frame, it should go down to around 8.9kg

I've only went on one ride, but first impressions are good. Due to the longer wheelbase, slack steering angle and low BB, it feels very planted and stable on gravel, especially on descends. On the road it almost feels too stable though, coming from a more CX based frame (GR029). Definitely less agile and slower turning. The frame itself feels stiff and efficient, and the handlebars feel much stiffer than my previous Deda Superzero stem.

Re: Gravel bike project
Stuck at the progress at the moment, because waiting for handlebar...

Can this be verified as true info? I can not find proper info about that. Frame is 86,5 mm and I am installing GRX600 2x10 crankset. I got three shims 1/2/3 mm width
Also ordered specific tool for BB T47, 48,5/49 mm width.

in my direct experience with ultegra crankset and without shims it touch and grinds the BB. with 1mm shim is ok. maybe grx crankset is different. just do a try.
i cant post a pic now, but i can do it later, if you wanna see grinded nds crankarm and bb :'(
