Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Speaking of 105, the 12s 7100 almost full groupset is down to $390. I have been tracking prices of this for some time . They started at $500 ish and are going down rapidly. At this price it's a no brainer against Sensah or LTwoo hydraulic groups.

Re: Awesome Pricing on Rival Drivetrain Stuff Both right shifters but with long and short hoses. Right shifter with front caliper is a pretty strange combination though.
A couple threads on ww and some comments on Reddit mentioned that flat top SRAM chains are different and without those shifting isn't optimal. Same with cassettes. Although one person vehemently denied having any issues with shifting using Shimano cassette.
I'll play safe and stick to everything SRAM the 12s stuff is sensitive as it is.

Re: Seka Spear Most WW threads with exception of members' personal WW build threads are full of hostile, rude and vile comments. Almost every thread on there about a new frame/bike eventually has mod intervention, warnings sent to members and finally deletion of useless comments. Lot of people don't seem to accept that others can have different opinions, a trend that's being seen here too as the forum size increases.

With that said, I didn't know S E K A was short for "Sage", "Exceed", "Keep", "Artist". May be it is more meaningful in Chinese.

That frame sure looks interesting but with largest size topping out at equivalent L/56 in western brands, most tall-ish (6'1+) people are going to have to skip it from consideration.

Re: Awesome Pricing on Rival Drivetrain Stuff The biggest hurdle for me will be my wheelsets all of which are Shimano HG type freehub and I don't know how many of those can be easily converted to SRAM (or on the cheap).

Here is what coffee break told about them:

https://chinertown.com/index.php?topic=3627.45

They are the same ones as CD-01 and maybe he got some faulty ones but either way, due diligence.

Coffeebreak here again, I later got Racework version of the same because I don't learn from mistakes but they are trash too. Not just poor braking all around, a light rain sends them screaming. Compared to RT10/30/54 rotors these have a matte finish on them that may be the culprit. The Shimano rotors are shiny, polished.

Also if you are impatient to wait 15 or more days for Aliexpress shipping, many vendors on Amazon sell better rotors for very reasonable prices and they all come with Shimano branding on them, complete with that little orange sticker from original rotors. Not sure what's happening there. Even the lockring is Shimano.

Here is one such listing for the brand "Balinge"

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXDQZCRX

I have these, they are Shimano RT54s. Fake or not but better than Onirii/Racework hands down.

Re: Seka Spear
some punters don't care about anything but looks and that it's works. Others also value performance and won't be interested in a time or look.

Are you implying if someone is seeking performance and not just looks, then they will ignore Time or Look frames? As in because they don't perform well, just look pretty?  :-X That has to be one of the most ridiculous if not the most ridiculous thing this forum has produced. Sure we are on a forum named Chinertown but this is getting crazy at this point.
