I have been using Easton carbon handlebars for a long time now and and I trust them but I never used a carbon stem...
Somehow aluminium seems to be a better choice for stems are the threads in aluminium inserts or straight in the carbon?
I am very happy with my Easton Haven Carbon Riser Bar, I went from 620 to 711 mm and it doesn't feel to wide at all.
There is just one narrow passage in my local trails that is more difficult with the wider bars.
Now I am looking for 90 mm 17 degree stem to be able to experiment with handlebar height.
I was a bit to radical cutting my fork to get rid of all the spacers.....
