Component Deals & Selection / ZRACE RX dub crankset... preload?
« on: December 05, 2022, 11:29:09 AM »
see link for exact crankset with magene p505 PM.

---going to be using this on frame with t47BB...  Have not attempted install yet, but the problem I am foreseeing is with BB preload... every other dub crankset I've ever seen has a way to set / adjust preload.  I see no way of doing this with these cranks other than hope / pray the washers provided are exactly the correct size you might need.

thoughts?

Geometry etc looks like exact like Wilier Jena, except with T47BB rather than pressfit.
In talks with them to try to order one to update / replace the GR029 I'm on.

Component Deals & Selection / SROAD lightweight cassettes

Any real reviews on these? The latest versions. Not the version reviewed by tracevelo a little while back.  Interested as possible replacements for both the gravel and road bikes.  See plenty of reviews commenting on the weight / looks, not really any on actual function.
Thanks

Have built up a couple bikes
Tantan /Seraph FM 686 and Farsports 50mm tubeless wheels, Ultegra Di2.   Over 20,000km on that bike with zero issues.  Until crashed badly after hitting some negligent assholes dog running into the road.
Also have a Tantan / Seraph GR 029 again with farsports wheels for a gravel bike.  Also great.

Anyhow, wondering if anyone has any info on the Trifox x16 frame / delihea climb frame.  Don't seem to see much info on these, but they seem like what I'm looking for.  Bit more tire clearance than my previous FM686 but still rim brake so I could just move all my components / wheels over.

Any info appreciated.  Even without info I may just go ahead so I can pass along the info to anyone else interested.

Thanks!
