Re: Chinese SC/AM831 Group Buy I was under the impression sitar-ned was doing the group buy. I feel more comfortable doing a group buy with the administrator of this site than a random member. Not saying this is a scam and you are not an doing a favor for everyone, it just fells wierd sending money to an unknown. I think that's why you don't have tons jumping in yet.

Re: The shiney new AM831 Group Buy thread! Alright I got PMs to everyone in the old group buy thread that expressed interest. I have not gone through the  regular AM831 thread. Don't think I'll have time for that. But the one thread is done.

Also what time do you guys usually communicate with Eddie? I emailed him this morning US time, and no reply yet.

Re: The shiney new AM831 Group Buy thread! Eddie is charging $540 right now. I doubt we will hit 50 now, but 30 is possible. $540 is still a great deal in my opinion.

A few people have responded to my messages. I'm glad it helped some people. I could do a thread on mtbr and pinkbike forums if you guys want me to to drum up more buys.

I haven't placed my order yet. I'm ready but can't decide on a color. That's the only thing I'm waiting on.

Re: The shiney new AM831 Group Buy thread! Bbr has a small frame already and says his hits. I PMed him a few minutes ago. I'm not sure if larger frames will have the same issue. He said a product like this will fix the problem:

Luckily I already have one and was thinking of putting it on there anyway to take the head angle down to 65 degrees.

I read winnowsports was acknowledged on page 21 of the "Chinese Santa Cruz/AM831" thread. Upon re-reading it, out was zilcho saying that, not you. Still it's a different company, so maybe it will be different, maybe not.

Also I never saw your asking where I'm from. The last message I saw from you was confirming that the Reverse components angle spacer should help the problem. That message was at the start of a second page of PMs. I never saw your other reply until you mentioned it now and I looked back at the last message on the end of the first page.
