Title: FM-011 build question.
Post by: 00Garza on February 26, 2018, 09:32:02 PM
Hey Everyone,

I’m building up my second Chinese frame. My first was a Zhongwei R-002 before they bought up Velobuild. Now it’s called R-022? I also have some Yoeleo 38mm wheels which have been fantastic. Highly recommend them.

I recently purchased a used FM-011 and will swap my wheels over to it along with my Campy chorus groupset from my caad10. My question is what do people use to plug the di2 holes if using mechanical? Any suggestions are appreciated.

A quick search on google on "Di2 frame plugs", gave me for example this result: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Look-Shimano-Campag-Blanking-00004653/dp/B00U18LTCO
A good way to start for searching.

On an own frame with a exit hole for the front shifting cable, which isn't used, I used some transparent tape to prevent dirt coming into the frame at that point. Almost invisible.

Thanks for the link! I’d searched amazon, but it seemed most plugs were frame specific. I think I can make those work though.
