bananaskin - are you using caffelatex?
How has it worked for you?
You are the first I have seen actually using it.

Looking good there.
Will be interesting to see with your own creations.  I never did anything with the wheels or fork(only frame) but may depending on how yours goes.

So, have you weighed it lately?
Who makes the stem cap and bolt or where did you get it?  Or your light parts in general?

This may be a little off topic but something  you said made me think...what about using that spray rubber product we, in the US, see as a infomercial or commercial:  FlexSeal
It is supposed to be flexible...wonder if that could be sprayed inside a tire and a tire set up tubeless.....probably spray extra to have some rolling around in there to seal later - not sure that stuff works that way.
Anyways, it would seal initially but would it seal a puncture?

Nice set up.
How tall are you?  What made you go with 27.5"?
You took the stickers off the SID, you could do that to your crest wheels.  I just pulled mine off so I have a little residue left.
If you go that route, try using a heat gun.

check your chainring bolts for possible noise
I would have thought with a bolt hole a little out of alignment, a little filing wouldn't fix your issue.
Good that you are up and running.  Nice ride.  You have a weight?
Beautiful area you have to ride in.

Trek or cannondale had a knob or extension of their headset.  Handlebars would spin until the extension hit aprotuberance on the frame?
Maybe you can find something like that.
The negative is you may have to buy the headset that fits and then another with 'anti-spin' feature....I am looking for what I am thinking of.

The DH Titan is $1500.00...nearly 3 times most carbon frames....most likely because it is beefier and such.
Once you get up there, you start thinking name brand again.

That is freaking impressive...but over $2000.00

Component Deals & Selection / Understanding rear shock #s

Question about rear shocks.
To start, the following link is good overall in understanding:  http://www.pinkbike.com/forum/listcomments/?threadid=136066
My question was the same as the last person on that page:
The eye to eye is proportional to the stroke...but, say a bike needs a 200 x 50
Does a 200 x 51 or 200 x 57 work for that bike?
Initially, I would think that any 200 would work and as long as you are longer than the recommended you should be OK.

A another negative of the Titan looks to be price.  Maybe they are better but they are starting 100 to 200 more than the competitors.
Link to catalog here:  http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,455.15.html with prices before shipping.

I ordered Shimano shifters from Merlin in i-spec.
If you don't like the ergonomics of i-spec - pretty much shifter sits on brake with 3/4" left to right adjustment.
If you like your brakes angled down(you standing out of your seat) but like your shifter angled for when your sitting - no go...they sit at the same angle.

Otherwise, you can't beat the RS Reba fork.  Good price...great weight and comes in 100 or 120 if desired:  see here:  http://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/rock-shox-reba-rl-29-solo-air-120-tapered-ml15-black-255259/wg_id-8722

ZTR crest are fine wheels - have them myself - went with 32h to stiffen them up - some complain they are squirrley?
So, glad to see at least the rear is 32...based on your stated riding those would work well.
I would rather have the DT240s so I would choose the XL Trace(seem similar to Crest).
