Anyone planning to take advantage of the 11-11 sale on AliX? If so, what do you plan to buy?
I know the sales are only "meh”, but doesn't stop me from picking up a few things.
This year:
-Winter cycling gloves (Santic or X-Tiger, haven't decided)
-Elite One Carbon seat post hardware parts (to replace the stock metal parts)
-Winow lightweight thru axles
-Sunri helmet
-
I'm hoping there's a good deal on those dt swiss clone hubs and getting another set of carbon wheels! Last year I got my 55mm deep wheels for $340 because of the sale
-
I already have a pair of 27.5+ wheels for the mountain frame that hasn't arrived yet. Thinking I should get a pair of 29er wheels as well.

Aw man, I'd love to as well, but I think I'd find myself on the wrong side of a divorce

Is it these axles you're thinking to get? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002924985787.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_allProduct.8148356.5.778e7462tc60Th

Yes! But I am reconsidering, as the stock axles are only 80g in total anyways.

80g for both?! That would only be a 7g savings which is more questionable IMO. Also I don't have any experience with carbon TA's. I wonder if there are any issues with bonding of parts coming apart.

Yea, I would be better served replacing calipers and rotors (the Juin Tech GT with finned rotors are great, but overkill)
Of course lighter wheels always help! Probably a 1/4 kg savings to be had there :)
Think my wife will concur?

haha the upgraded wheels needed to be positioned as a safety precaution.
