Looking at different carbon patterns trying to figure out which one I would like on my future bike.
I am torn between a few. Especially 12k twill and that x weave. So pretty and they tinkle
Let me know if I missed any.... Share your favorite and why!

A standard 3k weave is classic. I think a wasp weave on the new style wavy aero wheels would look hot though!
-
I think that "painless" finish that Light Bicycle offers is dope. I'm sure others offer something similar

Is that the hexagonal weave.
-
Yes, hexagonal, honeycomb, wasp, all look the same thing as far as google image search for me.

I like UD Matte on frames. I had some Yoeleo wheels that were 18k weave and really liked that look!

I just discovered the 3k twill at 30° that elite wheels has. I am having a hard time picking between that, the 12k twills, and the x weave. I am leaning x weave because I am a bigger riders. and its supposed to be stronger. the twirly-ness of the 3k twill at 30° is just fun. I need to make a choice very soon... mmm

The finish (3K, 12K, etc) is just a veneer, and does not affect the overall strength of the rim.
I wouldn't stress over it much, and just pick the finish that tickles your fancy

The problem is I like the xweave, the 12k twill, and the angled 3k twill...

In that case, of the ones you like, my vote goes to x-weave.
Has a nice "edgy" look, that the tradition weaves lack

Edgy isnt the word I would use... Satisfying is the word I would use. I think it sparkles better and is more satisfying To see it shift in the light because of the bigger sections of weave. I was already leaning that way. its just 80 bucks more. I broke down and spent it. Because it will be more fun. Maybe I should do a transparent pink or some thing on them. That will take the edge off. lol
