Hello,
Just discovered the IZIP Altai.
On paper it is excactly what i am searching for.
Any thoughts on this frame?
Is there a website of the manufacture?
I am from Austria (EU).
If i order the frame via AI. The price is 280€ (aliexpress says with taxes?). The shipping is 60€.
I gues i have to pay the "anti dumping tax" of 48%?
Thank you!

Wow, that seller rating is really bad. I hesitate to buy even if it is lower that 95%...

This frame is sold for over 1000 Chinese yuan in China, and of course, it includes free shipping within China.
The quality of the frame should be fine, as many people in China are riding this model of frame.
The frame is manufactured by Kangpeng Bicycle, which is the OEM factory for the Poseidon bike's gravel frame (Redwood).
However, I honestly don't think it's worth spending so much money to buy this frame.

After shipping, you're pretty close to some of the entry level carbon frame options.
If you're dead set on aluminum, I'd go with Seaboard.
-
Seaboard also has some builds by members here in the metal bikes section and they look great.

I looked at this frame but went with the Seaboard GR02 for my budget commuter build. The headset cable routine on the IZIP was a dealbreaker for me. The Seaboard is a good deal lighter too, and there are more color options.
