Did the girls keep a straight face or were they laughing their asses off?

My IP057 has an internal sleeve that runs through the frame. I know this because my daughter pulled out the plastic tube before I ran the shift cable through it. Even with that gone, I fed the cable through the frame and it came out the other side without any problem.

Currently running the Conti X-Kings as well with protection sidewall. Ground is still soft here in Utah and they have hooked up really well. Will see how they perform once everything dries up.

Expect happiness. Grace ran X-Kings when we were in Sprindale (Gooseberry, JEM, Little Creek, etc) last time and had a blast.

Good to hear. On my way down there in 2 weeks. Lucky enough to have in laws who live in Saint George.

The bars I am using now are 700mm and my stem is 70mm. Thinking I may need to try the Offset seatpost as JohnnyNT suggested.

Turbo - this is what it looks like you need/talking about:

These are the ones I used...I just assumed they were needed, they let the cable seat better in the frame and they finish the cable nicely
The frame seems to be built for them as the hole is sized for them vs. bare cable which is 'loose/wobbly'
I looked at a bike store - they had plastic ones...I wanted metal.

These are what I used as well.

Looks like a really good price to me.

Finally was able to get in a few rides and I am really like this bike. However I do have a few fit issues that I am not sure of the best way to fix. Going up hill it feel great but on the downhill it feels very twitchy and I feel like I am over the handle bars to much. What are things I can try to fix that?

Really interested in what Peter will roll out with his new company.

Component Deals & Selection / Re: New bike rack - Saris Freedom Rack
« on: March 16, 2015, 05:51:05 PM »
What I really need is an unobstructed, dedicated space in the garage to hang the rack...

I got the Swagman, with 'hoops' that the tires sit in and a hook that snugs down on the top tube.

Everything is adjustable- you can move the tire mounts side to side to fit any size bike or to make them fit together better.  The hook has a foam cover but it still rubs a bit due to vibration.  I just put a sticker where it contacts the top tube on mine, and dont worry about the kids bikes.

Thinking about buying this rack. Are you still liking it Patrick C, think it's worth the money?

You can already wrap some Gorilla Tape around your handlebar if you don't have an old tube.

57
I would be interested in buying a couple of these if you are still making them Outrider?

Yeah I get that, just wondering if you knew what the size of the shim was since I don't have one to match it against.

60
Since I didn't get any shims with the headset, do they need to be big enough to contact the frame or just the bearing?
