some punters don't care about anything but looks and that it's works. Others also value performance and won't be interested in a time or look.

Are you implying if someone is seeking performance and not just looks, then they will ignore Time or Look frames? As in because they don't perform well, just look pretty?  :-X That has to be one of the most ridiculous if not the most ridiculous thing this forum has produced. Sure we are on a forum named Chinertown but this is getting crazy at this point.

Here is what coffee break told about them:

https://chinertown.com/index.php?topic=3627.45

They are the same ones as CD-01 and maybe he got some faulty ones but either way, due diligence.

Coffeebreak here again, I later got Racework version of the same because I don't learn from mistakes but they are trash too. Not just poor braking all around, a light rain sends them screaming. Compared to RT10/30/54 rotors these have a matte finish on them that may be the culprit. The Shimano rotors are shiny, polished.

Also if you are impatient to wait 15 or more days for Aliexpress shipping, many vendors on Amazon sell better rotors for very reasonable prices and they all come with Shimano branding on them, complete with that little orange sticker from original rotors. Not sure what's happening there. Even the lockring is Shimano.

Here is one such listing for the brand "Balinge"

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXDQZCRX

I have these, they are Shimano RT54s. Fake or not but better than Onirii/Racework hands down.

The biggest hurdle for me will be my wheelsets all of which are Shimano HG type freehub and I don't know how many of those can be easily converted to SRAM (or on the cheap).

Most WW threads with exception of members' personal WW build threads are full of hostile, rude and vile comments. Almost every thread on there about a new frame/bike eventually has mod intervention, warnings sent to members and finally deletion of useless comments. Lot of people don't seem to accept that others can have different opinions, a trend that's being seen here too as the forum size increases.

With that said, I didn't know S E K A was short for "Sage", "Exceed", "Keep", "Artist". May be it is more meaningful in Chinese.

That frame sure looks interesting but with largest size topping out at equivalent L/56 in western brands, most tall-ish (6'1+) people are going to have to skip it from consideration.

Yup. RT10/30/54/56 whatever for the win. I don't bother much and get the cheapest one depending on the sale. One thing that I am certain is those cheapo Shimano rotors are better than cheapo Chiner rotors.

6
Both right shifters but with long and short hoses. Right shifter with front caliper is a pretty strange combination though.
A couple threads on ww and some comments on Reddit mentioned that flat top SRAM chains are different and without those shifting isn't optimal. Same with cassettes. Although one person vehemently denied having any issues with shifting using Shimano cassette.
I'll play safe and stick to everything SRAM the 12s stuff is sensitive as it is.

Speaking of 105, the 12s 7100 almost full groupset is down to $390. I have been tracking prices of this for some time . They started at $500 ish and are going down rapidly. At this price it's a no brainer against Sensah or LTwoo hydraulic groups.

I since had a look at groupset prices in Europe and they're still insanely expensive, it infuriates me. I understand that SRAM prices are very attractive in the US, but that's not the case in Europe.

SRAM prices aren't very attractive here in the USA as well, not to me at least. Nor Shimano's. On the contrary I was under the impression Shimano stuff is much cheaper in Europe. Cheaper, relatively. Nothing is as cheap as LTwoo or Sensah though.

Tempting and not tempting! but it's hard not to ignore issues other users have been facing.

Yup. The recently dead RDs are concerning. I don't think EGR RD is any better than ER9 anyway. These both groups need a proper V2.0. I wouldn't be surprised if these go down to sub $300 level before next iteration hits whenever that is.

I mean a deal is still a deal for those who can get it regardless of what countries it ships.

This storage box looks interesting but need fitments for different seat posts!

Ltwoo eGR coming out to about $380 shipped after coupon from ltwoo official store.

Actually pretty tempted right now.

~$350 now :D but gonna pass. The recent surge of issues is enough to deter me.

LTwoo EGR 1x12 group is straight up $350, no coupons to apply. That's cheaper than it was after coupons during anniversary sale.

BUT, the official LTWoo store is a pain to deal with.

Re: Aluminum tape/foil sandwiched between fork and c-ring. It works in a pinch - I tried it on VB GF002 which had the infamous headset play issue like many other VB bikes. The play disappeared to an extent but it never felt *right*. The issue completely went away with new c-ring that VB sent after a year. The new ring has an extra cutout v/s old ring and is probably made of softer material too.

GRX is always ideal, but if you want something cable actuated that’s cheaper, I’m pretty happy with the MicroShift Sword/Juintech F1 setup on my CFR707.

Seconded. Sword is such a bargain. Those shifters are fantastic and defy the price point they are sold at. Compared to LTwoo that groupset is better in every possible way. I went even cheaper and paired the shifters with Onirii hydro-mech calipers. Compressionless housing is a must but Microshift thoughtfully includes a pretty long length housing in the box. 10 speed simplicity. Cheap chains, cheap cassettes.
