Re: Ican S3 XC Frame 45mm bb drop is huge, IMO.  Pedal strikes galore here with that.

Re: Ican S3 XC Frame What are your trails like, are they buttery smooth or littered with rocks?

Re: ZTTO BB92 BB86 threaded bottom brackets. I just greased mine up, pushed one side in then pushed the other side in until it "engaged" the first side. Turned them by hand until they got too tight then used a bb wrench to tighten.  Pretty easy installation.

Re: TanTan FM10 29/27.5+ I use closed cell rubber pipe insulation, it squashes up easier than the noodles so is easier to get in. Doesn't weigh much for the amount you need.

Re: Stumpjumper clone Interested  to know what Aussie shop you got the Rev from? I'm in Sydney and prices are ridiculous and postage is even worse so it must have been a good price to have it compete with O/S pricing.

Re: Stumpjumper clone Good luck with the build. Don't get too caught up on not having a stand.  Internal cables first, then seat post and saddle, forks stem and bars. Flip the bike and build the rest of it upside down.

Re: frame bearing tools This looks like the cheapest Ali has for a puller and I think would cover most bearing sizes for bikes.  I don't have it so can't comment on quality or use.  It relies on screwing it out so is probably better for carbon frames.  https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000446430241.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000014.12.6a09c500TnNT85&gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller&scm=1007.13338.177931.0&scm_id=1007.13338.177931.0&scm-url=1007.13338.177931.0&pvid=83d713e4-8985-4b72-92a8-bf563d4cf7d1&_t=gps-id:pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller,scm-url:1007.13338.177931.0,pvid:83d713e4-8985-4b72-92a8-bf563d4cf7d1,tpp_buckets:668%230%23131923%230_668%23888%233325%2311_3338%230%23177931%230_3338%233142%239890%233_668%232846%238109%231935_668%235811%2327183%2356_668%232717%237566%23830_668%231000022185%231000066059%230_668%233422%2315392%23177

Then there is the slide hammer type which are more traditional but they are more expensive and just like I don't hammering things into a carbon frame I'm not sure about hammering them out.

There are plenty of bearing press kits so I'm sure you can sift through those.https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20210625234230&isPremium=y&SearchText=cycling+bearing+press+kit

I haven't found a kit that is both puller and press.   Someone like Park tools or BBB probably do them but I would imagine they are expensive.

I have this BB set and am happy with it so far.  https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32959595259.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dMXAf1t

Good luck and let us no how you get on.

Re: your thought on Shimano Ultegra grouset on aliexpress ??? Have bought from 007bike before with no issues. They have a very good rep here. That's assuming they have what you are looking for, the last couple of times I have looked they seemed to be suffering from stock shortages like everyone else.

Re: How to post a picture Is there someway to do something about the size of the pics that are getting uploaded at the moment and the way they appear on the screen.  Using a windows PC here and the thumbnails that get dropped into the post are too small to see any real detail. Clicking on the pic takes them to their full uploaded size which in many cases is 3 to 4 times the size of the sites viewing panel which obviously means you don't get to see the whole pic at once and the only other option s to click on the attachment which is then downloaded to my PC, not something I want to be doing on a regular basis.

Warning Deckas cranks Just want to give a warning for anyone using the 170mm Deckas  cranks. My 60kg boy did this to ones on his Transition Patrol when he over shot a big jump and landed to flat.   I can't fond an order for them on my Ali account so can't link them here or work exactly how long he has had them, I think they were sent in lieu of BDSnail branded ones on one of my orders.  Not overly concerned about "warranty" or anything like that because I know they have been well used but just wanted to put a warning out there for anyone else using them to keep an eye on them if you send it large or have a habit of landing to flat.
