I've used the ezmtb bleed kit with no problems on my shimano shifters & calipers. Recommended.
For truing discs, I just push them with my (degreased) finger  8)

What is this "fishing kit"? Something you bought somewhere?
Not OP, but I used the internal cable routing kit by ZTTO. Worked well enough.

If it's preferred to get more of an upright position, you might want to ask for extra spacers (it's probably ugly, but...).
That’s not a good idea, as far as I’ve read. For safety, there’s a maximum stack of spacers you can put under the stem. Usually 30mm of spacers is the max for a carbon steerer.

Congrats on the new frame! Enjoy the build and many happy rides!

PS: I regret posting the weight of my frame and build earlier. Weight is an easy metric to compare, but I don't think a few hundred grams (or even a few kgs) are very relevant to the joy of building and riding. Cycling should be accessible to all, and a focus on weight (and thus expense) probably scares away newcomers.

FYI, my Yoeleo R11 frame (54cm, painted, with FD hanger) came in at 900g. Fork (uncut): 387g. Seatpost (without hardware): 139g.

The final drive ratio isn’t specific to belts and sprockets. The same one you’d use for regular cogs and chains will work. IIRC the gates spreadsheet has something for the drive ratios.

I built a commuter with an Alfine hub and gates cdn components (and regular square taper BB).

Gates has an app and a spreadsheet to help figure out the length of the belt you need at: https://www.gatescarbondrive.com/products/tools

I use their app to check the tension of the belt.

There’s not much else to it, except that “beltline” is more important than with chains. It needs to be pretty straight.

Thanks! All the details and a cost/weight breakdown are in my first post. 3300 CHF total

Loving the ride in the meantime. Would recommend :-)

In my (limited) experience with carbon handlebars and stems: replace all (metal) hardware. I couldn’t get my Yoeleo H9 handlebar to stay put (carbon paste and loctite in all the right places). Got some new M5x20mm bolts at the hardware store and hasn’t budged since, even without carbon paste (still using 243 loctite of course).

PS: since got these https://a.aliexpress.com/_mNXMRTr

FWIW, I thought your question is valid and was formulated thoughtfully and respectfully. We should at least be able to talk about these things, no?

I think the headset bearings are loose
For one potential solution, search the forum for “micro spacers”. They create space for the spacers to compress the bearings before hitting the frame.

43
As far as I know, Miracle is the factory and Yoeleo is a reseller (I bought an R11 from Yoeleo -- more details in my thread).

44
I had the same issue with my R11, but quickly fixed it with a few micro spacers thanks to your post.

Edit: I don’t actually think this is an issue with the frame design/production. It seems logical (in retrospect) that you need some spacers with an integrated headset design like this.

I believe you can run a normal stem and handlebar on the VB-R-168 with the right headset.

You could try this  ohne

Here’s another option: https://www.bike24.com/p2422400.html

I haven’t looked in depth, so best to double check.
