Carbonda FM1002 or LightCarbon LCFS947
Hello I have been following a few of you build your bikes and i want to build my own. But i can't decide on which one to choose. Lightcarbon also have offered to sell the frame with a carbon wheelset(OE 87MB). From what i can see the Carbonda is a bit newer and uses a more common shock, where the LightCarbon uses a bit uncommon shock. August 19, 2022, 12:36:17 AM |

Re: Carbonda FM1002 or LightCarbon LCFS947
Thanks for all the awesome replies. I'm 179cm tall so i guess i would need a size Large FM1002? The color I'm looking to get it colored is YS2430 - Black with "rainbow specles". I might still get the LightCarbon wheels as it's a good deal from them. August 23, 2022, 10:11:26 AM |

Re: Carbonda FM1002 or LightCarbon LCFS947
i decided on the FM1002, because most people recommend it and the support from Carbonda has been amazing.

My Carbonda FM1002 Build
Finally got all the parts for my bike and got it assembled today. Spent around 5-6 hours from start to finish. The frame is a Large and is fitted with these parts: SRAM Eagle NX drivetrain RockShox Domain 170mm fork RockShox Deluxe Ultimate rear shock DT Swiss wheels set 30mm internal width Schwalbe 2.6 Nobby Nick tyres(Tubeless) LevelNine seatpost and a used saddle(so i could measure how much space for a dropper post) E*Thirteen handlebar 800mm wide Magura MT Trail Sport brakes 203/180mm Any good "names" for the bike i can get some stickers made, was thinking about Chinalized(Specialized) or Cheep Scrap(Scott Spark). Re: Carbonda FM909
Can someone tell me what the ISCG bolt diameter and length is on the ISCG mounts? Google not helping. Most saying M6 (some not), lengths varying wildly. Most is 6mm and total length with guide is around 10mm. Guides use countersunk bolts, you can use regular allen head bolts if you just need bolts to plug the holes. October 09, 2022, 06:54:43 AM |

Re: FM1002 / FM1166 - 150mm frame
Frame arrived today. I seem to be missing a piece on their headset. Shouldnt there be a top compression split ring to engage the top bearing? All i have is the spacer with the hole in it for internal routing and the top cap. Anyone have any pictures of how they put together their headset? Like i replied on your PM there is no top compression ring and just the bearing and the centering spacer with cuts for internal cable routing. Just writing it here so others might find the information. October 09, 2022, 07:40:03 AM |
