Would be interesting to see a geometry chart and real life photos of frame when available.

That rear end looks like it would just be a headache, the rest is very nice

That seatpost area looks like a disaster in the making, i can't think of a practical reason to be like that, but i can think of many things that could go very wrong.
I'm against innovation that's only cosmetic, & want things to last. Proven designs are proven. If you're going to change it, you need a valid reason. The longer the design has been the gold standard, the more compelling the argument must be to justify changing it.

It looks like those concept bicycles from big car companies.

Those seatstays better be pretty heavy and tough, or catastrophic failure of TT / seatstay junction in 3,2,1.  They're much less deep than on the similar Madone - although this design obviously does without the stupid 90 degree TT / ST junction and gloryhole.

Presumably the top tube looping round the seatpost is *not* interference fit and has a rubber insert, allowing the seatpost to flex.  If it's interference fit, how will the seatpost flex without cracking the TT loop?  If it's not designed to flex, then what is the point of this design?

This is definitely an interesting design. I will say that more than seatpost flex, i would love the option to have a road bike geometry that could fit 35mm tires in a pinch like the Enve Melee, even if its optimized for a 30mm tire. This design clearly would have space at the seat stays, but the fork and the chainstay would be the limitation. If this bike does have that kind of clearance. Consider me interested!

I do question the seat tube cluster design as it seems like it would limit the range of height adjustment that can be done, but another big question for me is how much dirt and water would foul up the seatpost clamp area since its placed so low and close to the tire.

Love the overall looks of the bike.
But like many other have said in this thread. The seatpost area looks like a big truoble in the future.
If that area would have looked and been designed differently it would have been really interesting but for now i will pass on this.

That seatpost area is innovation nobody needs, quite the opposite. Also, maxing out at 30C in 2024 is really not future proof.
I wish you'd make a light Trek Emonda with 32-34C clearance, or a Look 765. These look nice, have wide clearance, are light, and have geometries where a lot of people could slam that stem AND be comfortable.

Yeah, the 30C is really a no-go these days...

I like the frame, I'd totally ride that. I'm sure the seat stay design is fine for anyone under 70kg!  Though I would have preferred 32c tires max.  :D

Seriously though, I feel like there's a certain weight/size tolerance for a lot of overseas components. I tend to include that in my risk assessment when buying stuff from China. That seat stay design might be fine for someone my size, but for someone who weighs more or has different dynamic leverages, it might be problematic.

Sorry for my mistake, it is for 700*32C for the new mold FM-CR068.

Thanks

Makes complete sense. From an engineering & manufacturing standpoint, i still think it doesnt make sense for them to produce such an exotic feature, but from a risk perspective, you could feel ok with the risk, while i never could. if i did and had an issue, my engineering friends would just laugh at me, and i really couldn't blame them.

So are you really just going to ignore the discussion about the cut off seat tube / looped top tube etc?  No comment on how it's been designed and why?

I agree, or test resistance or whatever proof of usability please.
