Re: Caved in and ordered a clearance Spcycle SP-027D Frameset
Update: I've added a photo showing the RD cable issue, I'm shaking my head as to why they couldn't include a 2 cent item with the frame? It's the little details like this that will make me consider another frame maker down the road. The RD cable is held in place with a valve nut so it doesn't slip into the chain stay...very ghetto!

I had a similar RD cable issue with a TanTan frame, which I was able to solve with a Jagwire cable guide stopper - just mentioning it in case it helps anyone. Jagwire part# CHA056, 5.0mm housing cable guide stopper; the main shaft has an outer diameter of about 7.2mm and the flange has an outer diameter of ~9.5mm. I was able to find mine on Amazon (of course, they're only sold 10 pieces at a time). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0025UGY7Q

Re: Which frame could it be? Leeze Aero One
I will listen to what it should cost. Because I can not discover a price. Thanks for the tip!

You may have luck reaching out to LightCarbon's German branch, YishunBike GmbH (LightCarbon and YishunBike are mostly the same company).
https://www.yishunbike.com/yishunbike-gmbh/

YishunBike uses slightly different product names, the LightCarbon LCR0X-D is their R0X-D (fewer letters, same thing from what I know).

Re: Yishun R068D
I contacted Yishun couple of days ago regarding their R068D. B2C is available.

R086-D-54cm frame, it is USD610

Confusingly, there is a R068-D and a R086-D model - buyer beware. (I believe you are referring to the 86-D model throughout.)

And agreed, it's difficult to find Chinese frame geometries that fall outside the Bell curve; I'm guessing economies of scale come into play here for the manufacturers.

Re: First Road Bike Build Here are some tools you may need:

1. Bottom bracket press - to push the bottom bracket into your frame
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256805253619890.html

Note: The page for the Yishun R1088-D frame won't load for me so I don't know what kind of bottom bracket it needs (press-fit bottom brackets will need a press while threaded bottom brackets require a different kind of tool)

2. Hydraulic hose tool(s) - to cut your brake hose to length and drive the needle into the hose - you can buy these separately but the following is a two-in-one version
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256804179664403.html

3. Bleed kit - to make sure you have enough hydraulic fluid in your brake hose and get rid of any annoying air bubbles
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256805944912699.html

4. Fork saw guide - for when it comes time to cut your fork steerer to length
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256805470482835.html

Please consider these links as reference points rather than outright recommendations; if you're hunting for bargains I'm sure you'll be able to find similar products for less money if you search long enough. Good luck with your build - ask away as there's lots to consider.

Re: Aliexpress Frame - Gravel Bike Sorry to hear about your bike woes! Here are some potential pitfalls that you might want to inquire about if you haven't already.

1. Saddle clamp - make sure the clamp is compatible with your saddle rails (some rails are round (7x7mm) while others are oval (7x9mm))

2. Handlebar dimensions - since this frame comes with an integrated handlebar, hopefully the stem length, the bar reach and drop are to your liking

3. Chain ring - this is only a concern if you are considering a crankset with a large inner chainring, but if in doubt confirm with them that there is enough clearance between the chainstay and your chainring

Re: Aliexpress Frame - Gravel Bike From what I know, the two main players are Senicx and ZRace as far as el cheapo cranks are concerned. The Senicx ones can be had for quite a bargain currently.

Senicx PR3 - 24mm axis - $58.39 minus $8 11.11 discount - https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805631093003.html
Senicx PR2 - 29mm/DUB axis - $62.03 minus $12 discount - https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805631095989.html

This seller only has 165/170/175mm crank arms; the 172.5mm version is available from other sellers.

Edit: the corresponding 1x versions are called GR3/GR2.

ZRace only offers a DUB crank, I believe. Here's a random link, other sellers may have better deals (also, this link includes a bottom bracket, which you may not want).

ZRace RX - 29mm/DUB axis - $93.15 minus $16 discount minus 2% coins if you have any - https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2255800869512390.html

On the Shimano side, I'd look at Merlin Cycles (~$118 for the R7000/R7100 cranks, for example); free shipping and no tax if I'm not mistaken.
https://www.merlincycles.com/en-us/road-bike-chainsets-75285/?brand=shimano

Can you tell I was in the market for a crankset myself? I ended up buying the Senicx PR3 myself, but then again I don't have a sprint.

Re: LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets Just in case it helps, there is also 80 Designer Store, which generally has better prices than LTWOO Official Store. For example, I'm seeing eR9 No Box No Battery for US$ 464 for at the former while US$514 at the latter. (I have no idea about their shipping policies though.)

Re: LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets
Also when you buy the "no battery" option, does this mean you still get the battery holder and have to buy the batteries yourself, or do you have to buy a battery case?

You buy the batteries yourself, everything else comes with the kit (battery holder, charger, wires). Also, my shifters came with the coin cell batteries installed, no need to purchase these.
