Since XT brakes seem to be popular.
I would recommend checking merlincycles.com
I just picked up some xtr 987 brakes for 320.00 which I remember some nearly paid that for XTs
Now, you can get XTs at merlincycles.com for 191.00(front and rear) w/ no disc ---- 212.00 with disc

Sales & Classifieds / XT M780 shifters and rear derailleur

Going to be the first to try this.
I was going to use XT shifters and rear derailleur on my chiner but have since gone with XTR because of a sale at Merlincycles.com(ends today).
I now have Shimano XT shifters(left and right, 2 ring or 3 via switch and 10spd) model M780 w/ inner cables(no outer) and the RD-M780 SGS(long cage 10spd) rear derailleur that I am ready to sell.
They are new and asking $60.00 for each.
I have an XT cassette that I may sell also.
