I hate ZTTO. They made me spend more than I should. I got one of those single speed convertion kit (see pic). And ended up changing my bike's color scheme. So extra expenditures includes 2 oil-slick bottle cages, grips, top cap, and I'm still fighting the urge to get purple cranks or pedals.  ;D ;D ;D

Just passing thru to read a bit. I'm now reminded of why I simply went full rigid. FS just became as complicated as advance mathematics.

@chadrandom, I don't have the Hi-Lite fork but I have inquired about it back then but they seemed to be interested dealing with whole-sale customers only. At least that was my impression. Our conversation was just cut when they simply stop responding. I never got the exact price or a final answer to my inquiry. See picture below, that is from Hi-Lite, my inquiry was if they have one with at least 40mm tire clearance for 700c & gear attachment boses. Suffice to say, I've no experience dealing with them nor have any of their products.

On the other hand, Waltly do have &/or built custom titanium forks. I did inquire about it although I didn't go into details. They also have other Ti parts like stem, seat post, flat bars & bottle cages. The thing with Waltly is you need to ask. They're not in the habit of active selling.

@chadrandom, it is as bxcc mentioned. I sounded like the company is locally based probably because most members here are familiar with Peter and the company. Also "local" might be misleading as this is an international forum. Lots of Americans & European members, I myself am Asian.

You will have to speak directly with Waltly if you are planning a custom titanium frame.

Those eeWings are more expensive than my Ti frame.

I was hoping to try the direct mount of the Fovno.

Okay, let me get this out to be sure. It's faux GXP, more like direct mount intended for BSA?
So I just get the cranks & direct mount chainring or the adaptor if I want 104bcd chainring. Use my existing Shimano bb shells and just add/minus spacers for 68mm or 73mm.

Btw, was it correct for me to equate GXP with direct mount?

I got a question guys. I'm not familiar with GXP system. My frames are for a BSA thread bb (English 73mm MTB & English 68mm road), mainly intended for Shimano Hollowtech & Hollowtech II. What do I need to do/get to be able to convert to GXP direct mount?

Looking forward to your review Icyseanfitz.

Here's some products pics I digged up. They also got pedals, seatpost collars & hubs but I'm looking at that oil slick crank & chainring (pics 2 & 3).

Anyone tried this before. Can't seem to find any review, I think they're Chinese.

Evolution of my gravel bike.

Started as a 1x11 - XT crank & cassette, Stone 42T chainring.
Then a 2x11 - Taigra 50/34T w/ XT cassette.
Now, a single speed. XT crank, Stone 40T oval w/ 18T rear.

I have some fork mounts coming from Rock Bros that left on May 6th and they still haven't arrived. I know Waltly is charging me an extra $150 for shipping my Ti frame through DHL instead of EMS as it will take a few days instead of a couple months. This quote is from Amy from Waltly.
"For now i suggest DHL shipment , it is $230 but faster and secure , there is cheaper option, but it is unworkable now because virus influence . 3-4days for shipment time by DHL"

Same scenario for my Waltly Ti frame. Was charged $200 (within Asia) for DHL as opposed to $60-70 via EMS. It did reach our shore on time (under a week). But got delayed by about 3 weeks or so at the local DHL.

My smaller packeges from AliExpress took at least 4 weeks, that's about an extra week to arrive, except for one via DHL which took about 2 weeks. I also got a couple of 'free shipping' that have gone beyond estimated arrival periods. I'm not too concern as they are not essential parts for my built (extra valve caps & plastic fenders).

@Carbonazza, was your Lauf fork the original 29er version or the TR Boost? The TR Boost has 60mm travel, boost hub specific and fits up to 29x3.0 tires. Although it cost more than what I spend for this titanium frame.
