Meische Cycling Store have a good range of Kalloy Uno bars and stems. Kalloy are an Oem manufacturer and their stems are tested to iso standards so i've chosen to trust them over other random chinese manufactures and will use on my mtb's when i get back to riding. Hopefully that's not misplaced.

Trying to figure out if they'll send them to me left rear right front before buying a set, do these use mineral or dot? They use mineral. zrace branded versions can be bought as parts if you have the ability to recable. Yeah, i got some solid "nope not safe" answers on reddit when i was asking about stems and bars from Ali. For the sake of keeping my teeth I'm still a bit wary of anything in the front of a bike that could fail (wake stems..) but i did find Kalloy Uno, which given their history and that their products are iso tested, i'm happy to trust.

I want to see how the LTwoo shifters handle. Only downside is that reviews mention high gear shifting needs to be done in the hoods. I was originally planning to order some 105 shifters for my gravel build, but I was able to get a cassette, chain and LTwoo shifters/Rd for a really good price. I bought the LTWOO A7 10 speed mtb shifters. They're supposed to be 1:1/Sram compatible but i could never get them working right with an X9 10 speed derailer. November 12, 2022, 06:00:55 AM |

Nah that's not how it works. I see this attitude a lot buying stuff from China. Its just the seller shifting the shipping responsibility to the buyer in an effort to keep their money. The seller is the client of the shipping company. Its on them to make sure it gets to the buyer and in usable condition. Not the other way around. Someone buying something for money is supposed to receive that thing in working order and the thing is supposed to do what it says it does to a high degree. That is the essence of an honest market transaction. Anything else is chicanery. On another tack, i've had my negative reviews disappear from Ali. I bought a steerer extender that in no way was up to the task it was supposedly designed for and would have been dangerous to use. Left a review stating as such and it was gone in a few months. Definitely! Ah.. i read somewhere the 10 speed HG95 only comes with a pin. I got a refund anyway and will use the chain with while keeping a sharp eye on it and the rest of the drive train. Hopefully if it is fake it doesn't wreck anything. Will be buying PYC chains from Ali for the next we while. They're about half the price of anything else local to me.
