Anyone order a flyxii frame off of amazon recently? I tried searching but my skills are pretty lacking in that department. I found some of their frames and thought it would be somewhat comforting ordering through a company like Amazon. Any luck on this? Or should I just bite the bullet and order a 057 from Peter at xmcarbonspeed?

I initially gravitated towards ordering through Amazon as well. After research, the only real advantage is that you know they're not just going to take your money and not deliver your product. Same frames, and if you need warranty issues or shipping issues you still have to deal directly with the company just as if you ordered direct from them in the first place. Unless I'm missing something, there isn't really much difference.

Yeah you're probably right. Seems like I can't really go wrong getting the CS-057 frame from Peter

I would agree.

I think you should make your decision on the frame you want independently from the sales channel. I bought 2 frames from FlyXII (the first one from Ebay, the second one direct - which enabled me to negotiate a discount) and everything has been perfect (solid packaging, 10 days delivery to France, good quality). I'd say, they only thing you absolutely need to do is to pay with Paypal, which offers guaranty. Other then that it doesn't matter if you buy through Amazon or direct to Peter or any other known vendor.

Are there any additional charges on PayPal for international payments?
-
No, just the standard PayPal fees, nothing more because it's an international transaction. At least that I know of. I think the vendors typically charge 4% for Paypal.
