Very nice!
Reach and stack a bit short but it is the only eastern front suspended frame with 67 head angle and 75 seat.
62mm bb drop is also fine.

Any opinion of this frame of lexon?

https://a.aliexpress.com/_EGv7XJD

Design seems BMC Twostroke “inspired” but geometries are a bit “old school” - see head angle and seat angle while bb drop is very very low - if the numbers are correct.

Interesting the headset 52/52.

In few words, a mix of old and new.

Component Deals & Selection / Chinese MTB XC carbon rims
« on: November 05, 2022, 02:24:41 PM »
Hi All
I am looking for carbon rims for mtb.

They must be:
- very light (xc/marathon use)
- asymmetrical
- internal width 27-28mm
- hookless
- tubeless ready

Any positive referral on some of the chinese vendor ?
Thank you!

Weight includes the rear shock, Rock Shox Delux Select+ which should weight around 350gr.

BTW Lexon might have some issues in terms of patent:
It is really too similar to Scott, I wouldn’t be surprised if they will be forced to stop the production.
If not, I will buy one!  ;D

Hi all,
I am thinking to buy a 936 frame but Vitus is going to sell the Rapide FS CRS at £ 2799, around € 3300.
Wouldn't Vitus offer be cheaper than thr option to buy from manufacturer the frame, all the other parts and build it ?
Any other alternative to Vitus in Europe (apart from NS and Bottecchia which are more expensive)?
Thank you

29er / Re: icanbikes S24 - does anyne has info on this?

Hi,
In my opinion, the main issue on this frame and 936 is the seat tube:
considering S24 comparison is the latest Specy Epic, their seat tube is too short.
I.e. If I consider the seat tube, I should buy a L size but reach and wheelbase is enormous while on M size the seat tube is too short while other measures would fit perfectly on my body.
Angles and measures are intriguing but extreme IMHO.
