Did anyone order those ultra light 150 grams or less handlebars? I had bad experience with RXL SL because they flexed so much and they aren't even that light. These Kocevlo being so light would be even worse?

Just looking for a simple handlebar with flat top.

I have these. Super flexy. I also have those RXL SLs with the ovalized tops and the 2cm flair. Those are much stiffer.

Anyone have experience with this Spedao 10-36t 11 speed cassette?

https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805833912725.html

I wasn't that impressed by the Spedao road 11-32t cassette because of cog skipping. Unfortunately the beefier 1 piece Goldix/ZTTO cassettes only go up to 11-34t. I'm planning to use this on my 2x gravel setup. I need to get an XD/R freehub with it as well.

I've been getting some skipping on the three lowest cogs or so when putting down the power.

I've returned a bunch of stuff too, and that was nice to try out different stem lengths. But just a heads up, recently I had tried to return some items that were clearly marked "Free Return," but for some reason AE wasn't letting me return these for free. The problem doesn't seem to be isolated to just me; a quick google search shows quite a few reddit posts with the same problem.

I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to just turn something on the shifter itself. I have an 11 speed mechanical brake version, and the shifting is done using a ratchet. You would have to replace this ratchet for it to work with 11 speeds. I don't think Sensah sells these separately; I tried to get myself a 12 speed one to upgrade my 11 speed shifters but they just told me to buy the whole shifter.

I have a rim brake Trek Emonda ALR. I've fitted 30c tires in there and would have no problem going to 32s. It's decently light too for an aluminum frame at around 1200g with paint and hardware in size 50. The only box it doesn't tick is a threaded bb. I would definitely recommend, the smooth welds make it seem almost like carbon.

I only see these aliexpress.com/item/32825340170.html at 530€ shipped without chainrings, I can get rotor crankset for cheaper. That's pretty bad when 105 with 4iiii is 300€ and not much heavier around 730g
Magene P505 and Zrace RX are also both more expensive and i've heard bad things about both (cranksets, not PM itself)
Such a shame how uncompetitive the chinese are for midrange cranksets imo. It should be right up their alley with casting and milling but nobody is doing affordable, modular and not ridiculously expensive sets.

Oh wow, they've gotten much more expensive. When I bought mine two years ago, I paid 75 percent what it is now...

Are there compact chainring options for SRAM axs cranks? I can't find ali cranksets that fit all my requirements (165 or 170mm, 50-32 or 48-32, powermeter, reasonably light <700g). Even on a budget the most appealing option is shimano 105 with a 4iiii left side, often goes on sale for 200€, which makes the total crankset with PM around 300e but an alternative could be SRAM rival with powermeter spindle, even cheaper at 260ish but with rings designed for 10T start cassette (and for their flattop chains?). Are there 50-34 107BCD that don't break the bank and not made for flattop? Or should I stick with 105+4iiii left crank?

Have you looked the Xcadey cranksets and power meter? They're decently budget friendly. Mine for the crank arms alone are about 420g. The spider is around another 100g or so. I've been running mine 1x, so I'm not sure how much 2x chainrings might add, but in total the crankset weighs in the ballpark of 600g (I don't exactly remember). They even come in 160mm if that's your jam.

Yup the rim would be compatible. But you might be better off just buying a disc wheelset, unless you're willing to build the wheelset yourself.

Hi guys, am I the only one that can't access the LTWOO official store on Ali? It seems that we can see items from them but only through Choice Store (concept from Ali). The reason I am asking is that the er9 is on sale through Choice, but it won't ship to Canada.

Yeah I have this problem too in Canada. I noticed the price from the LTWOO official store is substantially lower than any other, so that's too bad.

And some more interesting Sensah news that I missed - they're currently testing (looks close to release) a 12 speed version of the Team Pro shifters that work on the same pull ratio as the existing 11 speed gear.

https://twitter.com/thundervolt2/status/1712774126149251371

These are rim-brake shifters, and in the comments on this post, the rep says that they may make a small batch for hydraulic levers as well.

Nice to see another 12-speed rim brake option out there - handy for those who want to keep drivetrain spares the same across bikes.

So I asked the Sensah store on Ali when they might be selling these shifters. Something was lost in translation but their message suggests that they are also developing a derailleur with shimano 11 speed pull ratio.

Did you build them yourself? I haven't made it down that avenue yet, but I'd love to. I started building a diy truing stand a while back. Now might be the time.

Yeah, I did build them myself. Probably not as true as can be, since my truing stand is just my bike with zip ties...

I built up a set of 30mm deep wheels for about 400USD. It weighs around 1120g. I can't quite give a verdict yet as I don't have many kilometres on it yet. So if you're willing to source some lesser known parts from ali, you can build something pretty light for pretty cheap.

So this hub apparently has 696 points of engagement. Huge flange diameter in the rear. It should build a stiff wheel laterally. KOCEVLO RD690 Road DISC Brake Straightpull Hub 24 hole 696 points of engagement drive system ENDURO Bearing| | - AliExpress

It's also sold by other brands it seems, Goldix included. Goldix actually builds a wheelset around them, and claimed weight is 1350g for the pair in 40mm depth. If the quality is good, that's a pretty good deal for something that only cost 825 CAD. Free returns, too, at least here in Canada.
