I've not made pictures during the build. What are you interested in?

Like the breakdown of parts that you've used and the wheelset. I already have a Yishun agent (Melinda) and she's really nice and helpful. I ordered R086D and RSL50D wheelset from her.

Do you have a build breakdown? That's a beautiful bike! That was my first choice from Yishun but the size that I want was not available

would suggest you try thread locker on the bolts 'and see if 10 nm works

I just tried this. Applied threadlocker on the expander bolts on seat post, torqued to 10nm, did a 60km ride and no slipping issues so far for the whole ride. I tried 11nm (with no threadlocker) but issue returned after an hour of riding.

So therefore, slipping seatpost was caused by the bolt loosening maybe due to vibration. I checked them after every ride (before I applied threadlocker) and it was really loose (Had to torque them back to 10nm each ride).

BTW I used loctite 243 medium strength.

That's crazy ass cheap and interesting! If this goes well I think the big names should update their prices

I got my 105 Di2 upgrade kit in AliExpress for a price of LTwoo ErX. I think that is a pretty good deal already.

I, now have a point of comparison as I already installed my Shimano 105 Di2. Pressing the shifters with Shimano is much better since there is a feedback and has more tactility compared to LTwoo which feels like linear when you are pressing those shifters. In terms of shifting performance of RD and FD, I feel Shimano is much better because it's like you are shifting with mechanical (almost no delays) and more quieter than LTwoo. Now I see why LTwoo is much cheaper because Shimano has a much better hardware and software. Also has a much better integration with my head unit (Garmin) because my unit always detects low battery on my LTwoo. Braking feels much better with Shimano. LTwoo's brake caliper is shit

Now, I am trying to sell my LTwoo Er9 if anyone's interested because I need funds. (I plan on not selling for my Gravel bike project but I really need funds right now)

I had the same issue. 9Nm didn't work, 11Nm did the trick (I'm 70kg)

I feel 11Nm is too tight already but I'll try.

Anyone else having issues with slipping seatpost? I already torqued them to 10NM with carbon paste and it's still slipping mid ride. :(

Hello I have contacted LTWOO without response, There was a question: if anyone figured out yet what the “Gear protection”  options in the LTWOO application actually is?

Purpose is to prevent your drivetrain from crosschaining. If you are on the big gear at the front, you won't be able to shift your rear to the last 2 lowest gear. Same if you are on the small ring, you won't be able to shift your rear to the last 2 highest gear

Maybe my unit is lucky because I get caught in the rain a couple of times and it's still flawlessly working. Tho I'll be changing the groupset to 105 Di2 because I wanted a more reliable brand and I'll be using the LTwoo as a placeholder for my next project which is a Gravel bike until I score myself some SRAM Force or Rival

Yishun bikes are really good. I think their R058D standard is now available for customers. I own an R086D so if you want a contact, I can give you one.

But surely most people who can afford a $2000 bike also live near a park? So they can throw the bike in their SUV and drive to the trails?

I live in a place where trails are just a bike away. I was a competitive XC MTB guy before switching fully to road bike. I also used my MTB to go to various places and train in paved hills or mountains. Then I bought a road bike and was planning to just use it for road work and do trails on MTB. But then, road biking is much more fun in paved roads and much faster that I gave up my MTB and sold it to buy a nice Chiner frame.

Well the thing is, I understand why road biking is more popular than MTB. Lot of people just want to go from point A to point B using bike and the fastest way to do it is on a road bike.

Maybe another thing is, road bike races are much more exciting to watch than XC MTB. On road bike race, you need to factor in a lot of things and there's a team work and there's a lot of strong riders on the field and is not just dominated by one person. Meanwhile, on XC MTB, I know only 2 people who is really strong they dominated XC MTB for a decade each and that was Julien Absalon and Nino Schurter. On XC MTB races, the one who goes first on single track is usually the winner and casual riders don't want to watch a single guy riding solo on a breakaway.

This is just my opinion :p

With all the issues the eRX groupset is having, if you’re in the market for a cheap electronic group, The Pro’s Closet is selling Shimano Di2 at ridiculous prices. You can use their $40 off coupon for every $200 and build a full 105 Di2 for like $500 right now. Shifters are $100 each, brakes for $28, RD is $100, FD is $55, battery for $66.

These deals are just getting crazier and better. My 105 Di2 upgrade kit just came in and it's $711. Then here's a deal with much cheaper than the one I bought.

So doe the ER9/X issues only happen to those who ride in the rain?

I got caught in rain once. No issues after the ride..

I just got the frame delivered. Here are few pictures. I wonder if the cable hole in the fork(last picture) is normal this way or if I should contact Yishun about it. It isn’t smooth at all but I’m unsure if that’s expected with Chinese brands.

Contact them regarding that one. They are responsive on issues like that and would also gladly help you on how to fix it
