What is the Ip 037 frame?  I don't see that on Xmiplays website.
Thanks,

Beware the Titan from carbonality!!!  Horrible product, horrible service.   my friend bought one and it was a nightmare.  Compressed and jammed time and time again.  Company unresponsive and wouldn't take responsibility.  Finally the frame broke.....good riddance.

Get the IP036.  It's got a great track record.  I've been thrilled with mine.

I have the web saddle on all of my bikes.  Just love it.  Light, very comfy(I was amazed how comfy!) super cool looking(gets tons of comments)and less than $10 shipped.  Highly recommended!!!

Do it!  You won't regret it!  I've had mine for 6 months and absolutely freakin' love it.  I've had lots of mtn bikes in the past and this one blows them all away!

29er / Re: Anybody put a G2 fork on a Chiner?
« on: January 19, 2015, 02:26:15 PM »
Thanks for all the input guys!  Huge help!  I'm gonna go for it.  The 2 main trails I ride here in Oklahoma City are extremely tight and twisty.  It's a 26ers paradise but I'm a die hard 29 fan.  It freaks me out a bit tho because the only 51mm offset fork in my price range is the Reba rl and only comes in 100mm travel.  I'm currently on 120mm travel with 46mm offset.

So this change should be pretty substantial.  I wish I could get the fork in a 120mm travel version with the 51mm offset.  Simply because I abhor pedal strikes and now my bottom bracket is gonna be lower.

Wish me luck and thanks again for your thoughts!

Did my first ride on the new wheels this afternoon.  Did a local 12 mile loop with my buddy.  Absolutely blown away by the difference of these wheels.  Truly a night and day difference on the ride.  I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend the carbon wheels.  Completely different bike now.  much easier to propel, much better traction, climbs amazing, handling is razor sharp.  These wheels are simply unbelievable!

With the 51mm offset instead of the standard 46mm they say the 29 handles quicker like a 26.  Any thoughts on doing this to improve handling?
Thanks,

Guys just wanted to let you know everything set up tubeless super easy today.  I couldn't be happier with how easy it went.

I went with the 2.3 Gatos front and rear for the winter(in the summer I'll switch to the light Mezcal out back and stay with the Gato up front).

I just went with the non tnt folding versions as they were quite a bit lighter than the tnt's and everybody has had great luck running them tubeless.

I used the 1" gorilla tape, 4oz. Orange sealant per wheel and Stans stems.  Everything went pop, pop and seated up real simple.

For both the wheels by going carbon and tubeless I shaved a total of a pound and a half of rotating weight!  I'm thrilled!

The bike now sits at 25.9lbs.  But I can see lots of areas to shave weight down the road.  My goal is 23 lbs someday.

Anybody got any ideas on how to shave another 2.9 lbs?
Thanks,
Andy
