Title: Formula R1 and other brakes
Post by: brmeyer135 on September 23, 2015, 03:34:04 PM
Here is a smoking deal on Formula R1 brakes

http://www.rczbikeshop.com/default/mtb1/braking/disc-brakes/shopby/formula.html?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=230915+OV++99+disc+brakes+formula+r1++-20+on+the+websitecrazy+deals&utm_content=230915+OV++99+disc+brakes+formula+r1++-20+on+the+websitecrazy+deals+CID_17124ff522034366d0a8791b1f5b074e&utm_source=mailcoach&utm_term=FORMULA%202014%20FRONT%20Disc%20Brake%20R1%20160mm%20PostMount%20L1000mm%20Black%20F0901FD91100-R1%20%209999e%20instead%20of%2020597e

This shows the R1 as 119euros but if you login, it will be 99euros a side(either front or rear)

Heck, 120euros for R1 racing- crazy low.

99 did not come up for me...but that is a mad low price for R1's.

I don't want to spoil the excitement but those are standard prices to me in France. I don't mean they are not good prices, they are, just that a quick search on my top 2 favorite shops enable me to find the same deal, not time limited.

I found a real good deal on SRAM Guide RSC a couple weeks ago, 179€ for the pair (yes, front + rear). This one was time limited. But I understand that Guide RSC might not fit with everyone, they are more enduro oriented (and heavier, 527g hardware included, length as delivered).

That may be at this time....but mormally, you don't touch Formula R1 for less than $300.00 US or R1 racing for less than $400.00
This looks like they are clearing out the 2014 model....which wasn't great...Formula is difficult to work with but stupid light.
